That's Enough.
In December, 1973, The Junior Class Of Canarsie High School In Brooklyn, NY, Apparently Put On A Production Entitled, "Dottie's Dilemma, Or We're Off To See The Klutz." A Parody Of "The Wizard Of Oz," The Show Was Replete With Social Commentary (The Oil Crisis, Watergate, Pollution, Etc) And Parody Lyrics Written To Pop Songs And Show Tunes, Sung Unintelligibly By A Huge Chorus Of Tone-Deaf 16-Year-Olds. Luckily For Us, This Production Was Committed To Vinyl, And I Came Across A Copy Of This Record In A Vintage Magazine Store In My Neighborhood In Brooklyn.
New Stuff That's Good:
"Major Force"
The Neo-Futurists (30 Plays In 60 Minutes)
