Yasna Voices: Vocal music from Bulgaria and beyond, via Brooklyn

In the first hour of the show: Yasna Voices, an all-female a cappella ensemble led by Vlada Tomova, explores Bulgarian and other vocal traditions. The group recently received a Community grant from the Brooklyn Arts Council to develop a new project - Women's Work Woven Through Song - in which it interprets women's work songs from around the world. Yasna Voices tells us all about it and sings about it too.
