October 18, 2006: Musical spotlight on Alchemy + author Brian Cotnoir
This show centers on the subject of Alchemy, mainly in the form of an interview which begins about 1 hour and ten minutes into the program. I interviewed Brian Cotnoir about his new Book The Weiser Concise Guide to Alchemy, and he talked about his alchemical practice in general as well. go to www.redwheelweiser.com to find out more about the book. google the word 'alchemy' for a real wild ride. the musical selections were categorized into four groups- earth, water, air and fire, which are the 4 elements by which early alchemists interpreted nature. Iti s a very loose group, but I noticed a strange consistency among the categories, see if you agree.
