Any chance Jack Shea could have been an alias for Irving Kaufman, so he could earn a few extra bucks? the singing style, and the way certain syllables come out, sounds like a copy of Kaufman. to-day, everybody sounds like everybody else, but not back then. love it.

What an amazing record is "The Laughing Song," as mentioned above. I dare anybody to be depressed after listening to that. here we are, both sick, and I'm about to lose my job--but I can't be beaten, and won't be beaten, with happy music like that to keep me propped up until the rest of it can fall into place.
