Hi Billy
just listening to your show from East Berlin. Very nice. sad to hear that NYC has
taken a turn for the worst. hopefully it will come round again.many new yorkers have
moved to Berlin in the last few years. The scene is very healthy at the moment,
primarily because its so cheap for artists to live here. Of course thats also
changing here too and things are starting to get more expensive. Still its very
cheap in comparison with the other great western cities. Im involved with an
organisation called salon bruit that promotes and organises experimental gigs every
week. we also organise experimental arts festivals. you can check at
lostshadows.net
I mainly just contacted because for me berlin is the european equivalent of new
york. To quote the new lcd soundsystem album
new york i love you but your bringing me down
all the best and take care

Hey Billy Jam,

BTW, the show last night rocked-----very good times! The Dine Indie
crew loves Dinosaur, so we had a lot of fun. Hope you got to see
them, too. Thanks again, and have an awesome weekend!

hey Put the Needle on the Record: good music - as usual - especially the electronic choons - but I really appreciate the interviews you do. Today's particularly since it dealt with the NYPD's under-the-table tactics which I have (unfortunately) experienced firsthand. Hey were you serious about the NYPD now doing podcasts?
