Terrible Adams speaketh words of gold, the gold bricks just keep coming out and falling heavily to the floor. All this and the Avengers too, YAY! Love the Shakes or Bible game!

Thank you both, I just wish it would have gone for 6 hours. You better come play in Spain or I´m going to get angry. Come play! The world needs NRBQ!...

(man) lt's true. Everybody loves NRBQ.
- Loves them? They need them. Like they need the air.

Hi,

Loved the show. Am listening to it again and taping the stuff I like.

A few things stuck out.

Terry says the bass player suddenly gets angry a couple of minutes into Smokey Places but I didn't hear anything and have listened to the tape 3 times now. Did anyone else?

Fraction of the Action was the least NRBQ-like song I have ever heard. Sounds like Hall and Oates or some other 80s pop.

Loved Frizz me the Frisbee, the Duke Ellington and the Lionel Hampton.

Cheers,

John L

Great show, boys, from Madison Time to Captain Lou & everywhere in between. Nice surprise to hear the Metrotones - I'm pretty sure Don Murray wrote the vocal arrangement for that as well as playing on it. Looking forward to the fifth show in the trilogy.

"Frizz Me The Frizbee" was the theme song Rudnick & Frawley used for Kokaine Karma when they were on WABX in Detroit (summer 1969). That's all I know, maybe the info is somewhere in your archives since you had R & F before we did. They also used to play NRBQ's version of Rocket #9 a whole lot that summer.

Fri. 9/14/07 9:37pm From: Richard Bochenek
