I was away from my desk for the Moondog track -- dang! Looking forward to the remaining contents of our Ol' Pal's bag of tricks.
  3:26pm
zoe:

I saw the video for this and I still can't tell if it was dubbed over with horrible trumpeting
  4:05pm
north guinea hills:

wow, miss douglas county, az...... jesus!
  4:21pm
Sean Padilla:

I really like this Scarlet's Well song! It sounds like an English Liz Phair gone synth-pop. I'm gonna check their albums out as soon as I can.
  4:25pm
Sean Gostage:

Love the Jeff Lynne track, felt like a time warp to the wonderful ELO days!
  4:26pm
Listener Dave:

Speaking of wikipedia earlier, the Irwin Chusid entry says "Since 1975, Chusid has been a DJ on free-form radio station WFMU, where he continues to host an unpredictable and idiosyncratic program every Wednesday between noon and 3pm." Guess whoever did the entry hasn't checked the schedule lately.
  4:30pm
Brandon:

some day I want my own Wikipedia entry. Its the height of ambition.
  5:03pm
Parq:

He's Judson Fountain. D'ye hear me? He's Judson Fountain!
  5:04pm
LL:

AAAAIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!! I assume Ken Freedman's left the building for the Judson Fountain segment. I have one question--WHY won't you be back in this slot every week? You punk, you should be back on the radio regular.
  5:05pm
ZippyD:

Oh the horror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5:05pm
dei xhrist:

I've always wanted to know what Elmer Fudd sounded like in his youth. Apparently he sounded like Judson.
  5:08pm
dei xhrist:

Pux Twahmiano could kick my yass. I'm a sizzy.
  5:10pm
Irwin:

"Because radio was where talent really is! And it's the best, and everybody's medium!"
  5:14pm
Doug:

This Judson Fountain thing is amazing, thanks Irwin!!!
  5:23pm
Parq:

Aside from Elmer, I've also long felt that Mr. Fountain's voice recalled that of Robert "Yeah, That Was Me" Wiggins.
  5:47pm
Jeff C:

I've got a feeling that Moondog wasn't above lifting a few things himself. The melody in "Be A Hobo" sounds suspiciously close to something Britten wrote for Peter Grimes.
  5:48pm
Julianne:

heyyy i did a listener hour a couple weeks ago and played "be a hobo" by insect trust. i enjoyed this version much better. does any one know the relation?
