Helloooo everybody.

today's lamentation is on the subject of the survival of the green green grass of home and garden in spite of over-zealous acid house cleaning and chest thumping of death crazed robot apes.

Wed. 11/7/07 3:24pm From: north guinea hills

i love the akron boys. one time when they played at the lucky cat 3 years ago, i jumped on the piano w/o warning, and instead of chiding me, they encouraged me. i've loved them ever since......

Wed. 11/7/07 3:25pm From: C

Yeah, Maria. I've been thinking about that a lot recently after my garden developed an awful smell. Any suggestions?

Wed. 11/7/07 3:32pm From: dave in vermont

Wed. 11/7/07 3:49pm From: ?

if Maria is serious about green grass and gardens, crushed river rock worked into the soil will revitalize, after a short period of time.really works..is the joke on me?

Wed. 11/7/07 3:51pm From: maria

I am serious about gardening, tho it is all indoors at this time. How do you get rid of tiny white flying tings that suck thelife out of some plants??

Wed. 11/7/07 4:01pm From: ?

ok, so?

Wed. 11/7/07 4:01pm From: david almanza

the most amazing things happen, when the soil reaches a certain ph level, insects tend to leave them alone, its amazing, the village of hunza at the base of the himalaya mountainswhere apricots are the staple food has such rich soil due to the silt from the mountaintops, plant eating insects dont exist.really

Wed. 11/7/07 4:09pm From: cannonball

the world as we know it will not be saved - but it will carry on long after {we} are gone.

Wed. 11/7/07 4:18pm From: dave from ks.

the only way to maybe save the world at this point is to let women of consciousness run it.

Wed. 11/7/07 4:18pm From: rlf

is it possible to put a barcode on the frontside of the moon?

Wed. 11/7/07 4:23pm From: north guinea hills

dave from ks., like that ivor cutler song that jim o'rourke covered, "women of the world (take over, because if you don't the world will come to an end, and it won't be long)"?

Wed. 11/7/07 4:37pm From: re:gardening

well I live in Brooklyn at the foot of the Wbug bridge, teh soil there is soaked in exxon oil and rat poo. the bugs in my house seem to have free reign over certain plants and leave others alone. perhaps they need more mooonlight

Wed. 11/7/07 5:45pm From: dave from ks.

companys responsible for pollution caused infertile soil should be given the task of revitalization.its can bedone.usually the toughest weeds grow in there first, when let go by itself{which is a good sign} for inside plants bugs tend to like sugar to,so the sweetest plants are target.crushed river rock {if you can get it,works inside to}its like helping the natural remineralization process. i read where Germany uses this same process with their forest areas.sorry to take up your space and time..

OMIGOSH the Earth's survival? okay being that i have been pretty much vegan/edge for something like five to seven years now, i am kinda biased in this area: stop breeding and raising and killing animals for food . . . the massive negative environmental effects that practices like "factory farming" cause are among the many many reasons i went in this direction . . . as a (non-veg, non-"environentalist") friend put it years ago, if humans do not take care of the Earth's eco-system, the Earth will still survive, it is HUMANS who will cease to exist . . .

Wed. 2/27/08 7:12pm From: gary numan though its cold outside

i am ok
