Listener comments!

  9:34am
Richard:

I'm crying just a little....
  9:37am
Doctor Holiday:

Change! I hear ya, Hil'ry. It's time to CHANGE THE SHEETS.
  9:40am
Rock Hardy:

Ugh, dude, the political commentary is tiresome, esp. since it's not actually commentary, just nudge-nudge-wink-wink-Hillary's-awful-right. Obama's my choice too, but I'm interested in some music right now. I guess I'll listen to the archive of Scott's show from last night.
  9:42am
Ann Arbor D:

To be fair, Hatch is one of the only DJs that ever talks about politics and I sort of appreciate it.
  9:43am
Wes:

Hey Doc Holiday, she even planted one of "you" at her rally someplace, chanting "iron my shirt...iron my shirt," until she called him out and made a remark about sexism...still alive!
  9:43am
dei xhrist:

Hi from NH - Dixville Notch's results were Obama and McCain. I'm looking forward to visiting the restaurant hosting Kucinich's election watch party. No I don't expect him to win, but I'm not going to be bullied by college age volunteers telling me that every vote for their candidate sends a clear message that I'm easily bullied in to voting with the Joneses.
  9:44am
dei xhrist:

Oh yeah, and the NPR commentator came up with more Chuck Norris jokes.
  9:46am
Hatch:

That's why they get paid the big bucks. For Chuck Norris jokes.
  9:48am
Hatch:

For the record, I don't think Hillary's awful. I voted for her in two Senate races, and I expect to vote for her again. I just think she's a bad Presidential candidate.
  9:50am
Matt:

Is this Michel Polnareff tune a homage to Allen Toussaint's Hey Soul Sister?
  9:50am
nh_dave:

I voted this morning and was amazed at the number of candidates. There is a performance artist named 'vermin supreme' on the ballot. Also who knew that Mike wasn't Huckabee's real first name!
  9:52am
Hatch:

Matt, actually this song came first as far as I know. It's from 1971, and the Toussaint song is from 1972.
  9:53am
Wes:

This is a totally groovy hippy set, Hillary would love it. I agree, good person, bad actor/candidate. America would rather vote for Paula Dean the butter queen (mom complex)
  9:53am
Hatch:

Mitt isn't Romney's real name either, but I guess Willard Romney sounds a bit too... aristocratic?
  9:55am
Matt:

Interesting....It's really catchy and goes well with the spring like weather here in NYC. Is it currently in print?
  9:56am
Hatch:

Yes, you can get that Polnareff album as a French import.
  10:01am
Richard:

Aerosmith Rocks.
  10:03am
Wes:

Huckabee may be a nice guy or whatever, but it would be very dangerous, in my opinion, to have a southern baptist minister serve as president of the US. Possibly worse than Bush, if the mind can wrap itself around that idea.
  10:12am
dei xhrist:

Vermin's footage is at mobilebroadcastnews.com. You can see a list of everyone who paid the $1000 fee to run for president at vote-smart.org. There's one guy running for the Prohibition Party - he dresses up like the Grim Reaper and protests at Budweiser breweries. He should dress up like Krampus and take it on the road.
  10:25am
nh_dave:

When you goto vermin's website he has coltrane's love supreme playing in the background. Heck I would have voted for him just for that had I known!
  10:28am
Bad Ronald:

Morning Hatch, digging the show.

Any chance you guys have "Psycho" by Jack Kittel laying around the library?

Thanks.
  10:37am
Wes:

I think this guy has what it takes: http://vote-smart.org/bio.php?can_id=53150
  10:40am
Hatch:

Too bad, he's not running this year.
  10:53am
dei xhrist:

It takes PhotoShop!
  11:10am
sasa, macedonia:

Thanx Hatch for The Voices Of East Harlem, beauuuutiful song (of freedom).
  11:26am
Chuck:

Really loved the Perk Badger. I must look further into Deep City Records.
  11:27am
dei xhrist:

First thing in the morning conversation with my husby was the toll all this campaigning is taking on all candidates. Even if they are each maintaining healthy eating habits and consistent sleep times etc., they're shaking hands and breathing airborne viruses. Obama's getting throat trouble, Rodham Clinton's admitting she's a strong trooper, but no one is going to sit anything out until the post presidential election speeches.
  11:32am
Wes:

Something tells me the poor widdle things will survive.
  11:35am
Chance From That Third World Country, Maine:

You'll be able to tell which one made the pact with the devil, because she or he will be the healthiest by the end.
  11:36am
Hatch:

My guess is Obama's throat hurts from giving speeches ten times a day, not from the germs of filthy New Englanders.
  11:37am
Hatch:

Speaking of pacts with the devil, my last comment confirmation "math question" added up to... 666!
  11:40am
matt:

Maybe it's a sign that you need to play some black metal.
  11:48am
dei xhrist:

we're not filthy, we're just saving that crud for something else and our pockets are full.
  11:50am
Hatch:

At least those of you in NH you don't have pockets full of steamed cheeseburgers like the people in CT.
  11:52am
dei xhrist:

... might have been. Before.
  6:28pm
mike njtpike:
