Playlist for The Dusty Show with Clay Pigeon - April 17, 2008

Thursdays 6pm - 7pm on WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

Man-on-the-street interviews explore all levels of humanity while hyper-editing promotes renal-retention in this all-analog, cassette-based broadcast. Obscure vinyl. Maudlin genuflection. Down home values.

Thanks for checking out this show. I enjoyed making it. A good deal of it was recorded in Thompkins Square Park - Manhattan. Always interesting people there. I am so far behind on these playlists! Life is just a blur. Just a blur. One day to the next. Pick 'em up and put 'em down. We eat, we sleep, we live, we love. We do our best and often fall short. But, hopefully we laugh and retain a sense of wonder. It's hard sometimes. Of course it is. Always has been. The human condition. Joys and sorrows. The beauty of empathy and awareness. The moment. May all of yours be beautiful! Clay P
