They were filming the NEW & IMPROVED Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 in Astoria yeserday. I got a walk-on part (meaning I walked through a scene as they were filming). It's N&I 'cause Denzel Washington and John Travolta are in it. So it'll suck.

My own prediction is that the new Pelham will suck, but even if it's okay, it won't have any of the original's impact, for all of its CGI wizardry. I'd comment on how Hollywood is out of ideas, but that itself would just be retread.
