Listener comments!

  7:30pm toni daytona:

i could NEVER hate you mac,,,,,,I LOVE EVERYBODY!!!!!!! PEACE---LOVE--JOY & HAPPINESS=)=)=)
  7:29am MS:

What was going on the Tuesday May 5 2008??? This was very irritating and absolute nonsense. What happened to the Antique Phonograph Program? This is despicable and rather disappointing. Those records and cylinders are extremely fragile and found the show very disturbing to say the least.

  7:30am LS:

Why are you evidently playing two (or more?) acoustic recordings simultaneously? Is it Dada night at the Antique Phonograph Music Program? Or am I missing something?

I enjoy your show ... but tonight is vertigo time.
  10:18pm tinalynnjones:

I LOVED the show! Excellent, fantastic, joyous, weird, interesting and musical! More please.
  11:10am Tom:

Yeah, who says the Antique Phonograph can't be experimental like all the other shows on WFMU? I loved the show too!!!
  10:37pm Des Onan:

Hate you? You're treating that old acoustical crap exactly as such crap should be treated. You should throw a few more on the floor and stomp on them for good measure.

Why don't you ditch that windup crap and play some nice organ records?
  2:44am PGB:

Wow, MAC. Excellent show. I'm pretty sure my grandfather fought in WWI to make this possible.
  4:14am Roy S:

At the very least this show has provoked more comment than the last few put together.
My own view was that I did not enjoy it.
  1:17pm James:

Why? And the answer is not "Why not?"
  6:41pm Mr Fab:

Aargh! I would love to hear this, but my computer doesn't like RealAudio (yes, I've tried installing an updated version of it.) Any chance of an mp3 or hi-quality stream or somethin? Pleaseplease? Thanks!
  12:23am Larry:

Why didn't they use this program as the intro to "Contact?" I think my head or something is hurting. I had trouble getting the beat; all I could do was slam dance. My wife is threatening to leave me. But I must persevere the whole hour. Another Arrogant Bastard Ale. That's the trick. Give me more. I think I will make a wave file of this and play it for 24 hours out in the back yard.
  5:44pm MrFab:

Thanks to the nice person on BewareOfTheBlog's Blather who suggested MediaPlayerClassic for those of us who cannot get Real (arf). Listening now - a fine example of "antique-garde" music.
  7:40pm Matt:

its like the ghosts of the past coming back.....

I am sure I heard Billy Williams in there - i'm a big fan, wow billy williams, billy murray, ada jones, even the vocal coach :)

Creative stuff
