WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

A free-range, grass-fed musical zoo, with mutts and purebreds equally represented. In other words, an ecstatic, psychedelic, danceable, hummable, moody, laughable, ontological seance of living sound and music I like. Today.

Tell me about that Minneapolis guitarist, Maria. I am from there, and haven't heard of him, but might like to go see him...

Wed. 5/14/08 4:29pm From: Maria

Well, Cecile, He;s about 6 feet five, really skinny, and he plays a vintage left handed stratocaster, in the Django Reinhart vein. Funny thing is, he's missing two fingers on his left hand, and is profoundly dyslexic somany of his songs are play ahlf way in reverse.

Wed. 5/14/08 4:30pm From: Sean Daily

Yay! You're back, Maria! I do the happy dance!

Wed. 5/14/08 4:31pm From: Cecile

That's so cool! What is his name again? I'll have to take a look and try to catch him in town.

That's so wild because Django was missing a few digits, too, wasn't he?

Wed. 5/14/08 4:42pm From: Dead Corporate Eyes

Wed. 5/14/08 4:47pm From: Cecile

Wed. 5/14/08 4:47pm From: Maria

Wed. 5/14/08 4:51pm From: Cecile

Wed. 5/14/08 4:57pm From: Maria

Wed. 5/14/08 5:00pm From: Cecile
