i totally did. i like ear pain. what's yer hearing for, if not to be destroyed?
i'm not really qualified to review this year: i've never been to one before, i'm not exactly the world's leading expert on noise, and i only made it to half of sunday's set. but what i did see i liked a lot -- especially sudden infant, who sure knows how to work a crowd for a guy sticking contact mics on his throat, and lasse marhaug & dror feiler, who seemed to really be channeling the john zorn/bill laswell sort of thing into insane noise land. oh, and the halflings were just fun.
maybe it was meh for the noise expert set, though. who am i to say?
