It was great to hear Wildgirl on WFMU on a Saturday after so many years... The only part missing was a 2 am dance at Greendoor or some such a few hours later!

Hey -just re-posting my "comment" from yesterday's show with WildGirl-
Great to hear her sweet voice on the radio again!
both Terre and wild girl rock and i've been listening for many years...
from my loft over looking the wiliamsburg bridge in the early ninties-taping Wild Girl's show (which I still listen to) and now live streaming Terre here in Vermont since having been priced out of the hood...Just really dig both shows past and present...never been to an official drag strip but I loved the race car rock n roll format!
Thanks for the reunion! xxoojess

Damned if I don't still have that insane dragracin' radio bug, Wildgirl.. Sometimes, Seems I JUST GOTTA try and create more of it wherever it seems lacking...Last year I even resorted to coaching the legendary Anita Bonita of the WJRZ Morning Show on the art of producing the Raceway Park Laugh live on the radio. She and Spyder Maguire were doing Raceway Park commercials, for some odd reason Live without the traditional opening Laugh, and Anita decided to just do the laugh herself. It was hilarious, and horrible, all at the same time, and the rest of the week I was emailing her with instructions on how to do it better, and she made a bit about it, and strike me dead if I'm lying, Wildgirl, she had that thing nailed by the end of the week!

Also to follow up on my Orville Couch question Wildgirl answered. One can only imagine how amazing it would've been if someone had been able to track him down while he was still alive...

And thank you so much Terre for that amazing afternoon from a whole weekend of interviews with people who ARE still alive.
