it was our first collaboration - apart from a rather chaotic thing we'd done the night before at Brooklyn Experimental Music Fest... Stork, I should imagine Brian or Liz have those files, would be great for fmu to air it...

Vocalist sounds to me to be like PJ Harvey.

Violinist Charlie Burnham (I presume the same guy) has a long history playing with James "Blood" Ulmer (see "Odyssey"), including Ulmer's great recent blues albums.
