Live performance by Hiss Golden Messenger

Splitting away from SF's Court and Spark, frontman Mike Taylor and bassist Scott Hirsch scattered to Chapel Hill and Brooklyn respectively. The two have now started a new musical venture, Hiss Golden Messenger, which they describe this way: "We came around a bend in the road and we saw a golden lake. So we jumped in." Hiss Golden Messenger is rounded out by guitarist Yair Evnine and drummer Terry Lonergan. They played a live set for WFMU drenched in loping tempos and lots of space.
