Favoriting Seven Second Delay with Andy and Ken: Playlist from December 17, 2008 Favoriting

-жеи's avatar View -жеи's profile Favoriting

The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

  6:11pm

  6:12pm
Joe Morris:

Thanks to Macy
This is a good repeat Ken
Joe Morris in the house!
  6:14pm
Sean Daily:

Fourth comment! Woo hoo!
  6:14pm
Dean Jacobs:

On behalf of Macy's I want to thank WFMU for the excellent programming. Please top by my office on the fouth floor of our 34th street outlet and mention WFMU for 5% off any purchase!
  6:16pm
Bad Ronald:

I remember the gal who booked the pyramid. She reminded me of bobbi fleckman!
  6:16pm
Cecile:

I could use my fibers refreshed, but alas I have wood floors at my manse.
  6:21pm
Joe:

Bobbi Fleckman, as seen in Spinal Tap
  6:22pm
Joe:

I like how Andy gets aroused by one of the callers ex girlfriends, tho I think that happens later in this show
"Do you have her number?"
This current call is weird, talking about his pinkie being cut off.
  6:22pm
Ken:

Any requests for next week's re-run? I have a ton of newly uncovered re-runs, thanks to Joe Morris!
  6:22pm
Bad Ronald:

Yeah Joe. She was always like "hey, you guys are great..." and all...
  6:25pm
GP:

Fredrico, no wonder you can't graduate...it's called Ritalin look in to it.
  6:26pm
Lizardner Dave:

I walked past Macy's on the way to see Neil Young and Wilco last night and some guy yelled a "Hey WFMU" because I was wearing the new Woof-Moo shirt. No discount though.

I think the finger guy is related to Larry. Keep doing a good show.
  6:26pm
Bad Ronald:

Nice Krampus show today, Ken!
  6:27pm
Ken:

Thanks Bad Ronald! Dave - how was Neil last night?
  6:29pm
Joe:

Wow, did you actually not have any of those? cool. Thanks to Raj to transfering them from my tape
let me know if you need WFMU TV, just found it on video
  6:30pm
Joe:

you havent played the first 7SD show Ken
Its really bad tho fidelity wise
  6:31pm
Ken:

I haven't gone through all those MP3s yet, but it looks like theres a bunch that I didn't have copies of.
  6:32pm
Lizardner Dave:

Actually it was Monday, I forgot today was Wednesday. Anyway I thought he was great though there were a few new songs thrown in that were not so great (and I'm not harsh on Neil's new ideas - I actually really like Greendale). The Times review was pretty accurate, though I thought Wilco was better than the reviewer did did.

Bad Ronald:

Dunno about any past bits but you can stand to make some more scratch for the booster by providing an on air "dear john" phone service to your listeners at $25 a pop in future episodes...
  6:45pm
scott:

In regards to the firing of Jonathan Plasticmanfan.

Andy - Cruel. Heartless. Psychopath.
Ken - Rose to the occasion and exhibited exemplary tact and humanity
  6:47pm
Joe:

Gotta say tho, its pretty hilarious, him sacking the guy and then going on enthused about the Purple Twinkies and/or the scene in Chatham ("the east coast Seattle")
I've listened to this episode over 100 times, Seriously
  6:48pm
Joe:

"Scott - give me Sidney Shermans number!"
"Scott!"
  6:49pm
Joe:

nice reference there to Galacto, the WFMU crab
Andy bought for the station
  6:51pm
Listener Julian:

After hearing this show referenced so many times in the archive, it's kind of a revelation to actually hear it. A perfect, squirmingly-uncomfortable example of middle-period Andy.
  6:52pm
Listener John:

An endoscopy is when they put a tube in an orifice to what your insides look like. In an "upper endoscopy" they put a tube down your throat. I don't want to talk about what a "lower endoscopy" is . . .
  6:52pm
Galacto:

I almost died because the staff over-watered me and my aquarium filled up with mold and fuzz.
  6:55pm
Brian:

You guys promised me you'd contact me about getting a radio show - remember -myspace bands with 500 friends or less. What HAPPENED?
How can I still listen when you betrayed! (I can't stop).

-Brian
  7:02pm
Listener John:

Whoops! I didn't realize this was a rerun. Looks like you all have known what an endoscopy is for almost 13 years . . .
  7:54pm
Joe:

LOL!
Night People is good; whos listening from 2 to 6am tho?
Its either that or somebody ranting on WBAI tho
  5:15pm
Listener zero:

I want a rerun of the show with the squirrel in the studio!
  12:35am
Joe:

Rocket J. Squirrel?
  12:52pm
Listener zero:

The coin-tossing episode has also to my knowledge never been rerun. Ken said that it worked great despite having been a retarded idea.
