  10:19am

  10:22am
annie:

  10:22am
wha?:

GP, I hear you Re: the vacation days. Unfortunately, my employer just unleashed a new policy limiting the number of vacation days that carry over. Along with an "I strongly encourage you to enjoy some extra time with family" message. How sweet.
  10:24am
detroitdave:

yeah, here too Annie but the blowing snow turned to ice on the roads and made a very amusing drive in.
  10:24am
GP:

Detroit Dave..that is freakin cold...I lived in Farmington and AnnArbor for about two years and for me it was the coldest weather that I have lived in...I remember one time my car was covered with about 1 inch of solid ice after leaving it at Willow Run airport overnight.
  10:24am
paulthepostman:

I am here! replete with Noel Coward smoking gown, Erazerhead bouffant and some more of those charming Barberella children.
  10:25am
detroitdave:

Well GP, we are piling up cars like cord wood on the freeways and will ignite them later for heat.
  10:25am
annie:

i get to play with snowshoes today!! hi PTP, you made it.. watch those ashes!!
  10:27am
GP:

Yeah, It used to amaze me how the people would forget from one winter to the next how to drive on winter roads. It seemed to take a few weeks of sliding and crashing to get it right.
  10:27am
Ike:

Woody, you're back!

I've got a big pile of work. My bosses are setting a bad example taking endless smoke breaks lately, though.
  10:31am
GP:

I think there are 5 people on our entire floor here today. Most are out until after the new year.
  10:32am
annie:

Annie, Aiko and I are alluding to the Trashmen's "Surfing Bird" as remixed by the Family Guy people. I don't have access to video here on my strangely Orwellian work puter, but if you Google "Family Guy Surfing Bird episode", you shall see all.
  10:50am

Harry PS:

Do you have Yximalloo's Unpop? Somehow this holiday season makes me crave it as an antibiotic, not that this show isn't helping. Thanks either way.
  11:10am
Woody:

I think we got the Yximalloo discs.... don't think it'll work into acoustic guitar chill-out but see if we can get there...
  11:14am
Bad Ronald:

Maybe XTC's "Dear God" can help along the way...
