Listener comments!

  3:05pm
BearJaw:

Good afternoon. Been waiting for this show to start since 4:30am this morning. It's only figures that my radio would get bad reception.
  3:05pm
Sean Daily:

Second comment or thereabouts! Woo hoo!
  3:06pm
Parq:

My, how peppy
  3:08pm
BearJaw:

this song is very hypnotic and trance-like
  3:10pm
tramshed:

MMMM Opening with blastbeats, I love you.
Volume is now increasing.
  3:14pm
Sean Daily:

RRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH...
  3:22pm
mb:

  3:24pm
Luna:

  3:27pm

  3:50pm
BSI:

  3:57pm
Cecile:

ah, missed some good stuff, but I'm sure there's a ton of good stuff to come
Psst...Diane, can you sneak something on from Aerosmith's "Get your wings" if it works for you.
  4:00pm
Cecile:

DEATH. HELLS YEAH.
  4:02pm
RagnarR in SF Bay:

Thanks for playing Death. Ahhhgggh. My station soooo has to get this LP.
  4:03pm
Cecile:

you should just email Drag City and see if they'll send it to you...
  4:05pm
Pearly Sweets:

Good for Cheer Accident... still being around and all.
  4:05pm
Glenn L:

Hey Cecile, I have a comment question for you.

Coupla weeks ago Diane played something off the new Khanate CD and you commented about a promo event they did on 06/06/06. I mentioned this to the drummer
(a co-worker) who recalled nothing. What'd they do?
  4:06pm
Pearly Sweets:

I can answer that question, Gleen, they slowly rocked the fuck out until your ears bled.
  4:08pm
Glenn L:

So you're saying nothing outside their usual?
  4:09pm
Cecile:

Brian just played 3 hours of the blackest death metal and didn't back announce at all. They just came in with these demonic voices and did the station IDs and whatnot.
  4:09pm
Pearly Sweets:

I asked this during Trouble's show, but it kinda got eaten up... so I figure I'd ask again. Does anyone know if the first OCS album is worth tracking down. I have 2, 3-4 and enjoy them. But the first album actually takes some time/money to find... and, well I don't have much money (all of the time in the world, however.)
  4:10pm
Pearly Sweets:

This is the first I've heard from the latest Mastodon album. It's not too shabby. I'm always in the middle with them... sometimes I like it... sometimes I'm a bit bored. But this one is hitting the spot.
  4:11pm
Sean Daily:

MASTODON! RRRRAAAAAHHHHHH...
  4:11pm
Cecile:

I like this one a lot
I missed them twice in the past two years, so I'm glad to finally see them at the end of the month
  4:16pm
Glenn L:

I see. I remember that. Didn't realize it was WFMU related. Thought it was something they did on tour in MN.

Top Secret - the backline for their WFMU gig came straight from an Elton John gig at Radio City Music Hall the previous night.
No BS.
  4:18pm
Cecile:

nice!
  4:19pm
Cecile:

nah, I don't even think Khanate ever made it to MN.
  4:19pm
MB:

Ah, I see what you did there Luna.
  4:20pm
Cecile:

I like Lamb of Dog.
Although their new one is a little slick.
I guess i'll get over it.
  4:20pm
Glenn L:

They shoulda covered "Funeral for a Friend / Love lies Bleeding".
  4:23pm
Cecile:

  5:34pm
Cecile:

  5:35pm

BearJaw:

New ANB is pure win.
  5:39pm
Cecile:

  5:40pm
BearJaw:

I hope I die before I get old.
  5:41pm
Cecile:

Even the Who got over it eventually...
  5:56pm
