Listener comments!

  12:11am
Pearly Sweets:

So far so good. You are setting the perfect mood for this evening.
  12:17am
D. Blumin:

Tanks, Pearly! First warm one of the year - if you're in or around beautiful Jersey City that is...
  12:22am
Pearly Sweets:

I've got the champa blazing and the lights down low. Just laying on the couch with a puppy at my feet taking in the sounds. I'd gladly exchange some of our humid days for some of your chilly days.
  12:32am
D. Blumin:

Where you listenin from, Pearly?
  12:33am
Pearly Sweets:

Jacksonville, Florida
  12:34am
muhrvis:

i have to walk the dogs, then i can settle down with my beer and listen to this stuff...
  12:41am
Pearly Sweets:

Those greater than one reissues are stellar.
  12:46am
Pearly Sweets:

They were like art of noise's evil twin. Goatee and all.
  1:00am
Mad Dog:

Ooooh Courtis/Moore, tasty. Now all I got left to request is some TG (in honor ov) and maybe some Glenn Gould, why not?
  1:09am
D. Blumin:

So we have dogs and puppies + their owners tuned in! Where the cats and the lizards at?

Mad Dog! Why not indeed! How was the Gristle?
  1:13am
Mad Dog:

So good, it was. Tiny intimate venue (Le Fission Red), thee band was red hot, Gen was crackin jokes. What a nite!
  1:21am
D. Blumin:

The Question is - did they or did they not play Hamburger Lady???
  1:22am
D. Blumin:

And what about that Nico material? Did they do that?
  1:23am
Pearly Sweets:

One would hope!
  2:29am
philly:

oh. im gettin ill
  2:33am
D. Blumin:

Sorry to hear that, Philly! Hang in there... Unless, of course, you were referring to the music!
  2:49am
muhrvis:

you're really rockin' now, the michael hurley was great!!!!!
  2:55am
muhrvis:

i love the "ethnic exotica" on those sublime frequencies releases
  12:25pm
Mad Dog:

They did play Hamburger Lady! The horn that Gen blows between the verses, produced the exact sound you hear on the record (like a call-to-prayer voice, combined with an ambulance siren) making us wonder does he keep that horn in a trunk with a tag labeling it "for H. Lady" or can you get that sound at Sam Ash? Amazing rendition, in any case.
