  9:52pm
G:

Yeah, I grew up in the Detroit area in the late 60s and early 70s. With things going as they are in Deee-troit these days, that little promo was pretty elegiac. Detroit population, 1950 census: 2 million, highest per capita income of any large US city. Today, maybe 750,000 population -- and the economy there, fuhgeddaboutit.
  9:55pm
Debbie D:

Yeah Dtroit was just named the most dangerous city in the country. I'm going there in June for the Gories Oblivians show...
  9:55pm
cheri:

well anyway debbie do you have any little eva tonite??
  9:57pm
G:

Have fun -- I've been known to do some things my mother totally wouldn't have approved of, as long as it was in pursuit of cultural experiences. :-)
  10:05pm

  10:16pm

  10:20pm
Louie:

Can someone slap Ken around and get Debbie a morning slot for the next lineup...hearing this once a week in the morning would change my life.
  10:21pm
Debbie D:

It ain't Ken's fault, Louie. But thanks!
  10:22pm
cheri:

well debbie i gotta skip out now ,,sorry to bother you
  10:22pm
Louie:

Can we still slap him around...just for old time's sake?
  10:24pm
Kevan from NW:

Little known fact that The Gentrys version of Cinnamon Girl
charted higher and stayed longer than Neil's at the time
  10:24pm
Debbie D:

I cannot condone that. Ken gave me away at my wedding last year!
  10:27pm
