  12:08pm Dean Rispler:

Hey, Joe! Great to see you at The Mummies. Great show so far (as per usual). R.I.P. Bob Bogle.
  12:13pm Parq:

Maybe my favorite girl-group-era number of all. Never heard this version, but I'm digging it.
  12:13pm doug from dc:

Cecile - more 7" coincidences, I found the Shang's version of this in the same stack as the Maurice Sendak.
  12:16pm The Joe Jukebox:

I rock. No quarter needed, no quarter given.
  12:16pm Bad Ronald:

Belock - Rock, Rock!!!
  12:17pm Cecile:

  12:43pm dc pat:

  12:43pm dc pat:

I keep forgetting to get heavily into Baby Gramps--is he still around?
  12:46pm Parq:

Terrific version of "Sunny Aft".
  12:46pm cyn:

dean were u there for set 2 ? I can't remember! set two was better.. got the mix right, and energy kicked in!
  12:47pm dc pat:

ah, he's playing at Zebulon's tonight in NYC people, git there!
  12:53pm Dean Rispler:

Cyn - I was not there for set 2. I was in the bar getting totally drunk, but I did not get to see the show. I wish I could've. I wanted to go to Southpaw, but I had a show the next night.
  1:12pm detroitdave:

Hello Joe! Been waitin for this show. How come we can't get 2 days of the B instead of 1?? You get my vote times 10.
  1:16pm fishmonkeystew:

I just saw Robyn and the Venus 3 open for the Decemberists at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston. Both bands were killer! I was wishing that R and the V3 could have played longer. Great stuff.
  1:29pm Ryan:

I must've have missed it, who is playing behind Joe?
  1:35pm Steve:

Rock on, Joe! See you next week when we play live on your show (shh, I won't tell)
  1:35pm listener jeff:

Cool! Shonen Knife!!!! Way to go Joe
  1:39pm Steve:

What I mean, of course, is I won't tell why I'm able to listen to your show during daytime hours!
  1:40pm TCJimmy:

Beautiful summery day in Rochester, NY. Playing in the backyard with my daughter listening to WFMU. Being unemployed ain't all bad
  1:44pm Neil Innes:

That's www.neilinnes.org.
  1:45pm bored office worker:

You are getting me through the post lunch pain. Please play 'bidin my time' by Black Diamond Heavies so i can cry and get out of work
  1:47pm stingy d:

YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE BELOCK!!!! HA-HAAAAAAA!!!!!!
  1:48pm ?:

dead is fine.
  1:58pm stingy d:

pfffffffff... can't kill me.
  2:00pm Cecile:

I had a NZ craving, so I'm listening to that Primavera Bats set on archive. Great stuff.
  2:04pm Parq:

Dang, looks like I missed a really good set. Heard while out for my lunchtime walk: guy to girl, "Did you ever hear of [pause and slight emphasis to suggest quote marks] Andy Warhol?" Me to self: jeez, am I *that* old?
  2:15pm (mta) Tony:

Neil Innes, I love your "Never Alone" song! Went to your website but did not see how to purchase your "Works in Progress" CD. Can you further direct me/us?
  2:16pm Neil Innes:

Sorry, can't help you there. I'm not that Neil Innes. Just coincidence.
  2:20pm dc pat:

oh yeah, the Turks. They were such a great show back in the old days.
  2:22pm Joe B:

sorry Tony, don't know what to tell you ... bought it off him in person.
  2:24pm Emily:

this is great! last week too! love the high energy!!!! getting me thru my work day!!!
  2:30pm Egowarrior:

Neil Innes is a genius. Jet lag or no jet lag!
  2:38pm Steve:

Wow, Mark & the Spies going for 44.99 on Amazon. I need that money to buy a pack of cigarettes.
  2:41pm Dean Rispler:

Great show, Joe. That Scott Deluxe Drake was better than expected. I saw The Humpers with The Candy Snatchers so many times and they were great. Then they signed to Epitaph and it was downhill from there.
  2:43pm Parq:

eeeYESS! That firebreathin' lead guitar and that stompin' bass-drum backup. This could only by SoCuSki! (SCOTS, if you prefer)
  2:53pm (mta) Tony:

Thanx Joe, I appreciate you taking the time to answer me personally.
  2:57pm Rubble:

Great show Joe!
