VTwombat:

Translation, anyone???
  9:10am
PMD:

Mornin' Hatch! Nice to have you hear (pun intended)
  9:11am
triish:

Is the comic about dumplings?
  9:13am
Hatch:

Aren't all Japanese comic strips about dumplings?
  9:16am
Hatch:

By the way... good morning!
  9:16am
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe:

God is in the dumplings.
  9:18am
Hatch:

That's not all that's in the dumplings...
  9:20am
triish:

Maybe they're Japanese pierogies.
  9:23am
triish:

or Caribbean latkes?
  9:31am
cosmic:

hatch!!!! yeeeaahhh!!!!
  9:34am
cosmic:

hey you got your own show! (not this one, i know) niice! was it my petitioning and protesting and picketing???
  9:37am
~L:

Hi Hatch!
Check out Dump's cover of Et Moi, et moi, et moi on "A Plea for Tenderness". I can't hear one without thinking of the other.
  9:37am
nasok:

to the black star and beyond
  9:38am
Parq:

Ah yes. This weather we are having. Most unfortunate. Yet we have Lupica to Hatch to Liz to Trudel, topped with second-night-in-a-row Accousmetic. Life is good, my compadres.
  9:40am
cosmic:

im so confused right now.. have i just stepped in my mouth?
  9:42am
dc pat:

right on with the comics..cracked me up.
  9:43am
Parq:

And, not for nothing, but Hatch's return to the reg schedule in the midst of the current political clime brings to mind Ian McKellan's line from the second LOTR movie - "I come back to you now at the turn of the tide."
  9:48am
I'm scared:

Oh noes! Not the unions!
  9:49am
triish:

"encouraged to change their time zone"
"don't know where it's coming from"

Heard those words in new context outta this guy's mouth.

What's not coming from Iran, I wonder? What's manufactured and what's real?
  9:52am
Cecile:

Hi/bye.
Off to a Nyquil fog of sleep. I got the cold from hell.

Happy Monday, all!
  9:55am
Hatch:

Yeah I am sure at least 30% of the people with green icons on Twitter are crazy libertarian-Republican-world government conspiracy theorists like that maniac.
  9:56am
The Doctor:

Take two dumplings and call me in the Mario.
  9:57am
annie:

good morning all. i have been here, just quietly. hi hatch, nice to see you. i appreciate the comic, too. hi cecile, sorry about your cold.. parq, my visit with dylan was short but sweet. i saw the almost-finished product of loosechange 911. an american coup. i have to tell you, this is good! very steamlined and succint. daniel sunjata gives it just the right touch. september 22 is thr eelease date.. i'll keep you informed, nyc is the venue.
  9:57am
Laurie:

Hiiiiiiiiiii Hatch.
  9:58am
Cecile:

Hatch, where is your show on the new schedule? I can't seem to see it, but it could be the Nyquil.
  9:59am
cosmic:

sunday night cecile. congrats hatch!
  9:59am
Hatch:

Hi Laurie! Cecile, you'll find me on Sunday nights from midnight to 3am. Most weeks I expect tol be in a Nyquil or other substance-based haze.
  10:00am
Parq:

The enormity of the Bushies talking about the current administration "taking away people's rights" is almost too much to comprehend. As is the irony of anti-Iran ranting by the people who are doing their best to turn this country into a fundamentalist protestant Christian analogue of Iran.
  10:00am
Cecile:

Hatch, awesome. I will be listening to you via archive.

This AWK song is awesome, is this new?
  10:01am
Parq:

'Cile, chicken soup! I would blame your illness on this stupid weather but you're not here. Maybe you got it second-hand from chatting with so many northeasterners.
  10:03am
Cecile:

I have been glugging down the chicken soup, the vegetable soup and the miso soup.

And loads of people here are sick as dogs, too. It was cold then it got way warm.
  10:05am
north guinea hills:

When I first saw the album title, I thought it was an album of covers originally from the band, Japan.
  10:05am
Laurie:

My friend went to Andrew W.K.'s motivational seminar and got really inspired.
  10:36am
mb:

Hello Hatch. Did you catch any Phish shows this tour?
  10:37am
Hatch:

Yeah I followed them on the road. Why else would I've been off the schedule?
  10:39am
annie:

at least your priorities are in line, hatch. my son went to the pittsburg show last week.
  10:41am
Laurie:

Now I'm picturing Hatch noodle dancing. Yikes!
  10:42am
Hatch:

I actually need someone to give me noodle dancing lessons. Anybody know a good teacher?
  10:43am
Obijam Kenoodle:

Trust the phorce.
  10:44am
triish:

Noodle dancing= with these?
http://images.google.ca/images?q=swimming noodle
  10:53am
Laurie:

Maybe Lady GaGa can teach you: http://community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/36450090.html#cutid1
  10:55am
SmokinJ:

Yeah, legalize!
  10:56am
Laurie:

My least favorite people in the world are those stoners who are adamant that no one has ever had any health complications from pot. Ugh. Go back to Hampshire College and/or GET A JOB!!!
  10:58am
dc pat:

really? Are you my mom?
  10:59am
SmokinJ:

She'd have to have sex with a man for that to be a possibility pat..
  10:59am
Auntie Phyllis:

Play nice, children.
  11:00am
dc pat:

yeah, I didn't mean to start anything, I withdraw my comment....my mom wouldn't say something like that anyway.
  11:01am
SmokinJ:

Sorry, it's the laugh a minute pot talking.. :)
  11:03am
annie:

parq, while digging in the garden last week, to make some order out of the mud, etc, i discovered a small spring.... so now a small pond has been created in the very wet garden...
  11:04am
Laurie:

There's nothing wrong with pot, let's just not pretend it's 100% safe.
  11:08am
dc pat:

hey annie, remember those carrots you told me to plant? Well I've been slowly thinning them and the kids get little carrots every morning. Thanks.
  11:10am
annie:

pat! what fun! the kids must get a real kick out of that!
  11:10am
Laurie:

Blowfly played my buddy's bachelor party years ago. It was crazy.
  11:11am
Parq:

That sounds lovely, Annie. I had a great father's day yesterday; two swell presents and my favorite dish in my favorite pub.
  11:12am

  11:13am
dc pat:

  11:16am
Parq:

Pat, Michael Shelly's. His show has slightly different hours, so I don't know whether or not interviews will still start between 11 and 11:30. If you prefer, you can subscribe to his podcast, which is stand-alone presentations of the interview segments.
  11:17am
annie:

  11:29am
BSI:

Diggin' the angry tater-tot footie ghost fellow.... he seems delightfully violent...
  11:32am
Cecile:

  11:32am
dc pat:

Ain't got a man

  11:40am
Cecile:

us old folks call it blue eyed soul
  11:42am
Eileen:

Cecile, why do we feel we have to be meek about it? Lets start a new movement, I love Gram but his fans are oh so precious!
  11:44am
BSI:

Clearly, the sun was supporting Brazil in that Confed.Cup match, and Mario has a hooligan's temper...
  11:44am
PKNY:

What's the tune you were just speaking over? That was pretty cool!
  11:45am
Cecile:

Yeah. Yeah. Man.
I mean I love I'm Your Toy, but I would never weep over it. That's for old Jim Reeves records. ;D
  11:49am
dc pat:

yeah but you gotta hand it to Egypt--they really put up a fight.
  11:50am
Hatch:

Drat, I ran out of Mario pictures.
  11:50am

  11:52am
triish:

  11:52am
EIleen:

Steady on now Cecile..... Jim did it for my mother but never for me... hmmm sounds like a sick country lyric!
  11:54am
Cecile:

Jim did if for my dad. I believe it may be why I am here. LOL!
It could also be the Nyquil.

And yeah, Eileen, that could be pretty funny.
  11:57am
Eileen:

Luckily I'm in Ireland so there is probably no chance our parents ever met! Anyway chow for now and thanks to the DJ for the kickin tunes..E
