Nice Skee-Lo track. Glen Campbell into Skee-Lo -- it works! Glad to hear you as I end my workday, Trent.

Mon. 8/10/09 8:14pm From: trent

scat. skittle. skebobble.

Mon. 8/10/09 8:44pm From: Runcible Spoon

I am into OMD. Madonna, on the other hand, makes me want to stuff a scimitar into my gut. May my stepmother's grinning rictus haunt your dreams forever

Mon. 8/10/09 8:46pm From: trent

Runcible, do you have any other big words you'd like to share with us? I have one. Madonnaphobia. It's one I just made up for this show in particular! Your stepmom is not a victim

Mon. 8/10/09 8:48pm From: Rampler

I love the cruel summer

Mon. 8/10/09 8:49pm From: david from ks.

hate to admit it,,, but i still like some Madonna,,,,,,dna

Mon. 8/10/09 8:50pm From: rictus bunny

rictus is a little word, just like your anus is a little butterbean. I have seen the future, and it is lee hazelwood

Mon. 8/10/09 8:55pm From: trent

no harm no foul here guys. also no pain no gain

Mon. 8/10/09 9:02pm From: Rampler

That Tomita song is bringing back old memories... must have been on a cassette I listened to in my adolescence in the 80s...

Mon. 8/10/09 9:07pm From: stinky the owl

i think that Tomita tune is the theme to the Jack Stargazer show. http://www.jackstargazer.com/ (Formerly known as the Star Hustler, a weekly PBS astronomy show)

Mon. 8/10/09 9:11pm From: Rampler

oh yeah... it was that damn Star Hustler!!!!

Mon. 8/10/09 9:16pm From: trent

a little TRIV in the playlist comments. keep it coming.

Mon. 8/10/09 9:17pm From: trouble

i agree trent, depeche mode are still fantastic and charming. I saw a few of their roadies at a rest stop on the GSP last saturday, it wasn't as good as your experience, i'm sure.

Mon. 8/10/09 9:25pm From: trent

but you got the "behind the scenes" experience!!

Mon. 8/10/09 9:25pm From: dave

ok, i have to know:

how do you distinguish the depeche mode roadies from the normal riff raff at the cheesequake rest area?

Mon. 8/10/09 9:36pm From: trouble

they had big, laminated backstage passes hanging off their stylish british attire, with stylish british accents. And they were taking waaaay too long to decide what can of soda to purchase from a vending machine. sure sign of a tourist.

Mon. 8/10/09 9:41pm From: dave

see, this is why i don't get to hobnob with celebrities. i wouldn't have picked up on that.

Mon. 8/10/09 10:02pm From: Mike Fun

David Fucking Crosby!

Mon. 8/10/09 10:02pm From: joem

According to IMDB, Melissa Etheridge publicly revealed that David Crosby is the biological father of her two children with partner Julie Cypher, who gave birth to their children conceived through artificial insemination (January 2000).

Mon. 8/10/09 10:03pm From: joem

Ah, Mike, you beat me to it.

Mon. 8/10/09 10:06pm From: Mike Fun

of course he already knew, he just played CSNY!

Mon. 8/10/09 10:07pm From: Mike Fun

Big Tomita fan here. I can't believe what awful parents you must have to have just learned of him.

Mon. 8/10/09 10:10pm From: trent

HEY MIKE CHILL OUT -i have to stand up for my mother, who infused me with a deep love of bette midler and lita ford, and fred penner, and depeche mode

Mon. 8/10/09 10:12pm From: Mike Fun

One could do worse than a liver transplant and sperm donoring at his age. I can respect that.

Mon. 8/10/09 10:29pm From: j
