Good evening, Herr Blumin. Looking forward to 3 hours of the finest sea shanties and even finer nautical exploration.

In addition to the obvious dangers inherent in deep-sea diving, divers often encounter hazardous environments, such as waters contaminated by oil and chemical spills, pathogenic microbes, extreme temperatures, biological or chemical warfare agents, and the Daniel Blumin show.

Speaking of Iceland, anybody out there read Haldor Laxness' uncharacteristic late novel "Under the Glacier" (also translated I think as "Religion at Glacier"). Highly recommended if you're innerested in witches and hand-held tape recorders.

G'night, Mad Dog!

Ike, I'm playing this in the hopes that it IS 2010 - cos it'll be really prescient! Then I can say, "Told You So, Ike!" Get the dumplings!

Ike:

Ah yes, dumplings. I'll be sure to eat lots of those before the end of the world. Especially at White Bear in Flushing. Those are great dumplings. Also check out Hunan House on Northern Blvd. in Flushing. That place is amazing.
