Enjoying this Alan Vega, is this his "rockabilly album"?

LO-T:

@jason thx for the yoko ono rmx tip!
  1:33pm
Ike:

@BSI, Toad Lord! Nice! Does the Toad Lord command croaking symphonies of amphibians all across the the land or just the coordinated invasion of toads into homes of uncool suburbanites?
  1:36pm
Pud:

Agreed. Great Ono. Enjoying the whole damned deal, Scotty. In a world of insensitive rogues and harlots, you provide a brief soft-jolt instance of broadcast purity, shooting white light into the infinite and reaping little as the great ones always do.
  1:38pm
Carmichael:

I like your bed music as much as any set song. It's so hep.
  1:41pm
BSI:

do 7" records intended for 33RPM play count?
I'm just thinking of those potty breaks, yo.
  1:46pm
Scott:

7" records at any speed count BSI, you know that! Also, any direction, oh and in any physical relation to the spindle.
  1:48pm
BSI:

thought as much.
Music, like all forms of art and communication, must be dictated by the potty breaks. .. remember that.
  1:48pm
Jeffersonic:

Are there any Wfmu Dj's with a Devil may care attitude that will be using an old turntable with a multi-stack 45 spindle next week?
  1:50pm
SCott:

Jeffersonic, I'd check with Fabio
  1:51pm
granny:

Lubos Fiser -- nice tune
  1:51pm
C:

anyone familiar with Franco Battiato’s stuff? i noticed he's got a show up in nyc and the description i read sounds interesting, but he's got a daunting amount of work out there. any ideas where to start? thanks!
  1:53pm
Carmichael:

I'm expecting a woman's voice to shout, "All for you, Damien! All for you!!!"
  1:53pm
Skip:

Broadcast, the band, unmasked... This is top of My Week of Wonders.
  1:55pm
Scott:

Hiya Granny! You gotta see the movie it's from, sooo beautiful. Skip, Broadcast has actually recorded songs about this movie/soundtrack; in fact, Trish Keenan wrote some liners for this release. Carmichael, I'm with you. And C -- yes! Franco Battiato's mid-70s stuff is mostly amazing, Uhh uhh... Embryo is a killer - and more. There's also a thing he did with Juri Camasasca called "La Convenzione" that's a mindblower -- I'll play something from that soon, sit tight....
  2:04pm
C:

awesome! thanks a lot, scott. btw, sorry i can't volunteer for the record fair again this year. too hard for me to get up from dc that weekend. hopefully next year though.
  2:37pm
GP:

Night Smoker = hauntingly good

  2:42pm

  2:59pm
