i did once drink 4 40s in one night w my german roomate (each), then we we went out and played pool and drank more beer, then i went to my new job the next morning at 6:30 AM

this was in northhampton ma in 1989/1990

but in my hometown, portland maine, we had a convenience store called "lil peach" where the guy would sell to anyone who could reach the counter.
