awright .......rex !!!!
we`re here in germany (show satrts at 19oo). saturdays is friends, kids, booze, smoke, cooking (cooking whilst drunk and blasting rex is an experience) and this show (which even the neighbours enjoy).
it`s even better in the summer when the garden is part of the equation.
unfortunately the drunk and cooking thing isn`t happening today.....
  1:36pm Bad Ronald:

I'm here and I got beer!!!
  1:37pm mick:

yeah, i got wine, i`m just not drunk and the kids are doing the cooking today...
  1:42pm Bad Ronald:

What're the kids rustling up for eats tonight Mick?
  1:42pm Peter K.:

Wow! First time I've ever heard the original version (at least I assume it's the original) of "T'Ain't Nice." Up until now I knew only the NRBQ/Skeeter Davis version, which kicks ass, but I think this one kicks just a bit more. Thanks, Rex!
  1:46pm mick:

little dough pockets filled with feta, tomato and jalapenos...they`ve just stuck them in the oven.
bad ronald, were you there during the election day stream? i was the drunken (british) fool who called up from germany....
  1:50pm ted cogswell:

Great show so far, let's hear some gut bucket R&B in the second hour!
  1:51pm Bad Ronald:

Mmm sounds good! You have white wine to go with it?
RE: election stream - I don't recall but I'm sure I was in a similar state. Who was DJing at the time?
  1:58pm mick:

nah, red wine. it was a bunch of people, billy jam was one of them. it was a stream which was running parallel to the regular one. god, i was in such a state.....i staid up til the wife and kid had to get up. i made them brekkers and hit the mat when they left. but then again, it did seem like quite an important event. rigth, the alarm just went off for the food.....awright.
  2:00pm ted cogswell:

Oh yeah, Rosco Gordon, that's what I'm talkin' about! Greetings from Seattle, USA!
  2:01pm Bad Ronald:

Hah! I think I recall now. Nice one, enjoy!
  2:06pm Bad Ronald:

  8:57pm Mark Dillman:

On the Red Foley record "Milk Bucket Boogie", imagine a cow and a bucket being brought into the recording studio to get the sound effect recorded. I wouldn't put it past 'em.
  10:40pm Rex:

Hey Per -
The Fool's Paradise theme song is "Shawnee" by the Premiers...
  6:56pm charlie:

  5:32pm Ron Rawls:

Do you have any more Dick Bartons Rebels? I work with Dick at Lowes in Brenham, Texas. He also had a band called the Night Trains.
