Chicago John:

  8:13pm
don:

  8:17pm
I am:

Suspended in bliss.
  8:23pm
Warlock of Wal-Mart:

I like the playlist pic - I'm glad to see someone else understands my frustration at trying to get ketchup out of the bottle.
  8:24pm
ken of brooklyn:

beautiful ugly, right off the bat, THANKS Wm!!!
  8:24pm
Chicago John:

Dumbfounded, or maybe just dumb. count me in!
  8:25pm
don:

ha ha ha... personally that pic is freaking me out, so i have my itunes window blocking it!
  8:29pm
Warlock of Wal-Mart:

Haha don, yeah I'll be glad once a few more songs have played so the pic will scroll off the screen.
  8:34pm
Wm.:

Chickenshits! I'm surprised at you guys. He's a black magician, spits blood, and demands respect!
  8:37pm
Warlock of Wal-Mart:

Pssh, well I'm a corporate Warlock, I spit jelly beans, and I *get* respect! Booyah
  8:37pm
don:

i especially respect the spikes in his face, but i don't want to stare at it for 3 hours! :^D
  8:46pm
don:

say it like a ricola commercial. "feeeeeeeecalooove"
  8:49pm
Warlock of Wal-Mart:

Hey William, do you (or any of you Castle-ites) know the noise scene in New Brunswick, NJ? I'd like to go check out a show but I'm also not into hearing an hour of static from an art school kid who just bought a contact mic.
  8:49pm
Wm.:

I just keep thinking of "Sinful Love" by BOC, again showing my age....
  8:53pm
don:

\m/ BOC! @warlock, check the listings on chondriticsound.com/forum for new brunswick shows. they are generally really good.
  8:55pm
Wm.:

There's some great shit going on in NB, Warlock. Hollow Man is really good, many others too. Like any basement scene, there will be some "kids with pedals and no ideas" factor. Also, the NB venues are booking some great out-of-town bands, esp. from PA, and some fairly big names. Sissy Spacek just played there.

what are these helicopters taking off under water
sharks with lawnmowers

-
i feel like i'm trapped in the swimming pool and the lights are off and i don't know what i'm going to tell the security guard 'cause i did it on purpose.
  8:58pm
j:

2673 is a good NB PE act.
  8:59pm
Warlock of Wal-Mart:

Sweet, thanks don, will do! @Wm - it seems like there's cool stuff going on, but then it's like all the venues are illegal and who knows if it's just "their friend's band" or what. Pretty different than hitting up Silent Barn or Glasslands.
  9:02pm
Wm.:

You gotta be willing to dig for the gold. I am, but only sometimes. ... the second-hand nicotine is a downside ....
  9:03pm
Wm.:

WINAMP ON REPEAT. BAD WINAMP!
  9:04pm
trutch:

William, would you ever revive the Cassette Culture posts on BotB?
  9:06pm
missermaffews:

I sense a stillness in the booth very calm
  9:12pm
Wm.:

Yes, very calm

SiHV:

BOC! They're playing up here at the Tarrytown Music Hall, mere steps from my house. I'm not really a nostalgia show kind of guy, but I think it's gonna be worth checking out.

Also, who knew they booked noise shows in Nyack? I need to keep an eye out for that.
  9:23pm
fatty jubbo:

making dinner to this very relaxing music.
  9:25pm
Warlock of Wal-Mart:

What does Fatty Jubbo have for dinner? I would imagine some rotten cakes and moldy pies.
  9:28pm
fatty jubbo:

pickled teratomas stuffed with blue cheese sevred over a delectable bed of arugula.
  9:28pm
Ken Timber:

You honored me with your airplay, William! SiHV, come over on April 2 for Slasher Risk.
  9:30pm
Warlock of Wal-Mart:

Clearly you are one of the most talented culinary minds of our generation! I had a cheese sandwich and some popcorn.

  9:46pm

Ken, excellent, I'll be there. The Nyack Village Theater Web site isn't too informative...anywhere else to look to find out more about who else plays on what dates?
  9:56pm
don (ken):

SiHV, unfortunately they are not too good at keeping a site up to date. but if you go on rocklandworldradio.com you can see all our archived shows. http://www.rocklandworldradio.com/program/explosions/ i'm doing shows once a month for the time being, and i put the word out.

Such an unfortunate band name for an amazing track like this
  10:14pm
SiHV:

Sorry, J, I'm with Wm. I have all this vinyl that refuses to tell me what speed to play it at. Drives me nuts.

Don (ken): my real name is Steve Kuhn...friend me on Facebook (if you can stomach it) and you can send blasts out to me. Cool, nice to have a venue close by.
