EASTER! was listening to your show -- just was not able to add comment at the time :( . . . but omg -- LARRY NORMAN!!!!! i had not heard him since freshman year in college (1977-1978); my roommate had his records! she is still one of my best friends EVER, so OF COURSE i am going to send her the link to this playlist -- even though i am sure she is no longer listening to Larry Norman records! . . . and YES i totally remember Sister Janet Mead ROCKIN' OUT to "The Lord's Prayer" and Tom Jones' unique take on "Resurrection Shuffle"! thanks so much for a great EASTER show!

It was the one song I wasn't sure I was going to play since it's not about THAT resurrection, but once I got it on the turntable, I wasn't sorry. If he hadn't had such a big hits with "It's Not Unusual" and "What's New Pussycat," Tom Jones would have become one of the fiercest white soul singers ever!
