SiHV:

Hi Martha! Never listened to your show before, but saw "Malveillance" on the playlist reader, so I'm gonna start. And "Grinder" too! One of my fave Priest songs. Rock on.
  9:40pm
ratbone:

mork:

Wtfmu
  10:00pm
roobmin thraknob:

wtf indeed - is with the people hating on the record skipping?
It's part of the fmu landscape and I don't want that 'forest' denuded thank you!
  10:02pm
roobmin thraknob:

But that wasn't a cover of the Cure song - that WAS the sure song!
weird.....
  10:12pm
Martha:

Hey all - thanks for checking in - and thanks for the info on the rip of the Cure song - I have to admit i am not that familiar with them! - at that point in my life I was too busy casting aspersion on any song longer than 3 minutes (or less, usually). But it wasn't skipping - just mixed. And glad you are all enjoying the show - we'll get to some more rocking later on -
  10:24pm
Kevin:

I'm kind of new. What genre of music would this be classified under?
  10:39pm
go check it out people:

Golden Triangle will be playing the Memory Burn Psych Fest, saturday May 29th, along many with many other excellent bands, including WFMU favorites The Black Hollies and White Hills. Glasslands Gallery, Brooklyn.
  10:44pm
Martha:

Hi Kevin - as far as genre goes you would have to point to a particular track - but 'FMU's spoken genre is freeform - thanks for listening!
  10:49pm
Kevin:

Ah, I see. I've never really heard of the freeform genre before. Thanks Martha!
  10:52pm
Martha:

The great thing about freeform is that you can have all sorts of music in and out through the show - but also through the station! - so tune in now and then and you can find some shows that really suit you - or challenge if that is what you are interested in - and know that all our shows are archive AND searchable!
  10:59pm
Pre-Digital Pete:

no that is a good idea Martha - coz your notebook won't crash like a 'puter
  11:04pm
Martha:

And the on-line playlist for me at least did just crash!
  11:14pm
Pre-Digital Pete:

Wow.....so just as well. And anyways you should feel free to do your playlist however you wish - to be truly in the WFMU freeform vein.
  11:15pm
Martha:

Ah! - You are so right!
  12:44am
Digga:

Wisteria by Harangue is the freshest play I've heard in a while...where can I get more of this band??? Sick stuff, why haven't I heard more plays!! Rock on sista
