  3:30pm
still b/p:

Puppy and any sensible pet burrow beneath sofa and tremble when Amanda sing.
  3:30pm
Matt from Springfield:

Nice and hypnotic.
  3:34pm
Looms:

@still b/p: i was just thinking about the pet reaction if it hears Amanda. Will our DJ be cruel to our hairy fellows?

  3:43pm
Matt from Springfield:

Butter Butter:

Running up that hilll
  3:47pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Butter Butter: Really? Then it could be Kate Bush's Fairlight CMI or mandolins I was hearing. Have to check that when this is archived.
  3:49pm
Matt from Springfield:

The EAS is at least less intrusive than the EBS, what with its 853/960 Hz simulation of impending doom.
  3:58pm
Carmichael:

Multi-tracked Amanda is twice as good!!
  3:59pm
Looms:

Poor little beast...
  3:59pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

"Hot Passion"?? Yikes!!
  4:00pm
Matt from Springfield:

Very minimalist Amanda, only kitchen percussion and vocals for this one. Is that Brandine at the end of it?
  4:11pm
Kaput:

Hey, that's MY tape deck!
  4:13pm
Looms:

I didn't know you were such a good salesman, Irwin!

Matt from Springfield:

I checked out the GHP interview with Irwin from Nov 3 2004 (RealAudio required), and it's great. Highly recommend (GHP from 2:00:00 on), especially the custom-made "GHP WFMU Mix Part One".
  4:23pm
itsa:

almost
  4:27pm
Matt from Springfield:

@DCE: you correctly predicted that the East Coast weather would cool down today! It's nice outside again, and I thank your magic oracle powers! (Though the scientist in me says it's because weather patterns move west to east in these latitudes. I'm not buying it, though).
  4:34pm
Matt from Springfield:

Woo hoo! Name checked by Irwin himself!
  4:35pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

yeah, we get the East Coast's recycled fashions...they get our recycled weather.
  4:37pm
Jenniqua:

This has to be one of my all time favorite songs, since it has my name in the title.

Sure beats Jennifer Juniper.
  4:37pm
Matt from Springfield:

Touché.
Mark Twain said he wanted to be in Cincinnati at the end of the world, because it's always 10 years behind...
  4:42pm
Carmichael:

Damn, I stepped out for a sec and missed Stan Kenton. Hopfully, Bryce was listening to that Graettinger ode.
  4:57pm
Matt from Springfield:

A+ Dana!
  5:09pm
Paulo:

Hello from a listner in Europe, a small town in the middle of POrtugal - Mangualde. Simply beautiful music! Big hug.
  5:10pm
Dan B From Upstate:

How is babby formed? What is London?
  5:11pm
mynameisjOhn:

Salutations from Ireland. Awesome show, yo.
Question - in my job, I get to play music with kids all day and direct their project events and concerts. Am I moron to complain that they don't pay me overtime?

PS Is London a breed of dog?
  5:14pm
Laura L:

A friend who teaches music in a community college told me a student thought Paris was a country. She told him it was a city and asked him what country he thought it was in. He didn't know.
  5:23pm
jason:

love this mother rage!
  5:24pm
Carmichael:

I bet her guitar is huge, and she's strumming like a fiend.
  5:28pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

I feel better than before now that Amanda has come on the air.
  5:28pm

  5:30pm

  6:03pm
its:

  6:03pm
Laura L:

Is it a special edition of Incorrect Music/Atrocious Music Hour? That's better than radio, because it's worse!
  6:03pm
Matt from Springfield:

I think Thomas is Bill Murray's groundskeeper from Caddyshack, singing these as he hunts his gofurs.
  6:07pm
BMR:

why does this remind me of Dave Berman?
  6:07pm
Listener John:

I thought that although the vocals weren't at all like the Beatles, his guitar sounded amazingly like them. Then I realized what's really going on . . .
  6:08pm
rrg:

This is "Part 1." "Part 2" aired four years ago on this very program (it says here).

That's what Google reports if you search for "Thomas rewrites the Beatles".
  6:15pm
its:

  6:16pm
Dan B From Upstate:

Yay! Passions!
  6:16pm
Matt from Springfield:

Ed Schneider is obviously a protégé of the great Ron Griffin, maybe even the lover of "Your Love Is Real"--oops! Said too much, hope no one from Ron's work is reading this.
  6:16pm
Matt from Springfield:

YES!! You need to bring out Mark Turns every so often!
  6:18pm
Butter Butter:

Irwin. Thank you for being with me by the ocean side. Yes, it is true that I brought you here to the ocean side to hold your hand and make love to you. I love you.
  6:22pm
Laura L:

Robert Alberg! I recall he was arrested for having had some homemade poison or something at home. Bet he's still single.
  6:23pm
Anayajay:

I had to turn it off - the neighbors can hear!
  6:24pm
john:

yeah, I was just thinking, "I bet my neighbors think this is me..."
  6:27pm
Dan B From Upstate:

I can't quite tell. Does this mean Irwin should never be allowed to fill in for Seven Second Delay ever again, or should Irwin fill in for Seven Second Delay every time that they're away?
  6:31pm
Laura L:

EVERY time. A permit he has got.
  6:42pm
Butter Butter:

We need to do something about these people taking these pictures with no resemblance to whoever the hell it is taking these pictures.
