scanner:

Oregon was nice today...saw a bald eagle with a fish in it's claws.
  12:13am
Joe:

Seriously? That bird has got some pretty ace timing! Or maybe they're around a lot over there? I've never seen one.
  12:14am
scanner:

I was on Klamath Lake canoeing, they are all over out there.
  12:16am
Joe:

Careful they don't mistake you for a fish.
  12:31am
Sue:

Hey, Joe!!! How's my favorite-est DJ?! :)
  12:34am
Sue:

***Happpy Fourth!!!***
  12:34am
Joe:

Hey, Sue! How are you? Feelin' patriotic? Letting the eagle soar?
  12:35am
Sue:

Yeah, man! God bless America! :) How's it goin by you?
  12:37am
Joe:

Well, you know, as usual, I'm doing a tribute show to America. I think I do that every show, pretty much.
  12:39am
Sue:

Do you ever NOT do a show about America? I mean, give it a rest, Joe! tee hee... sorry, I have a lot of energy tonight for some reason. Probably because I took a nap...looking forward to fireworks tonight?
  12:44am
Marmalade kitty:

"patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel"
-Samuel Johnson :)
  12:47am
Joe:

I'm not a scoundrel, just a rascal. Yes, Sue, fireworks, rah!
  12:50am
Joe:

Hey, everyone, please don't hurt yourselves tonight. Keep fingers and other appendages safely away from the fireworks displays.
  12:51am
Sue:

That's no fun... that makes it interesting though
  12:55am
Sue:

  12:56am
Joe:

Cool, Sue! Glad you like that album. Has a great Donovan cover on it. At least I think that's the one!
  12:57am
Sue:

yes, thanks for the tuneage, as usual!
  1:02am
Joe:

You bet, Sue! Thanks as usual for listening!
  1:28am
Marmalade kitty:

I'm not entirely sure of the context of the Johnson quote, but, G.W.Bush is clearly a scoundrel and a "false patriot, so was adolf hitler.. Is that what he meant?
  1:34am
Sue:

i looked it up before: "Boswell tells us that Samuel Johnson made this famous pronouncement that patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel on the evening of April 7, 1775. He doesn't provide any context for how the remark arose, so we don't really know for sure what was on Johnson's mind at the time.
However, Boswell assures us that Johnson was not indicting patriotism in general, only false patriotism."
  1:38am
Joe:

I love Boswell AND his sisters.
  1:47am
Sue:

love that jim ed brown song
  1:48am
Joe:

Sue, what's a girl like you doing in a place like this?
  1:50am
Sue:

  1:51am

  1:51am
krrrrrrt g:

  1:56am
Joe:

Hey, MTA Tony! Glad you dug the Van. That song puts me in a good mood, so I thought I'd lead with it. Prince also puts me in a good mood, even though he's singing about mushroom clouds!
  2:32am
