Looms:

Hi Martha!

The only good news here in France is that we're discovering your broadcast (great sounds). And a few reasons to be pissed off like: this is the last day of our summer holidays, and i just mailed Joe McGasko 'cause i didn't get any marathon swag!

PS: congratulation to Spain for the world cup (any bad comment about the French team will be welcome)

Hoboken here -- also in HUMIDITY DENIAL!!! -- preparing to go out to feed "the locals" (a/k/a stray/feral kitties here in town)

  9:47pm
scott:

  9:48pm
m:

Looms: appreciated.
Spain never beated France in championships yet, so have a toast!
  9:54pm
Looms:

@m: hum, France team beated itself this year... So i'd reather have a toast for your national team, it was one of our favourite from the start. The guys stuck together and it worked as it always does.
  10:00pm
texas scott:

@Looms: Alors d'accord ;)

Lodi! My power went out for a few seconds earlier, but it was before this show started thankfully. Whew!
  10:23pm
Martha:

Thanks all for checking in! Here in the US of A we are still benefiting from low soccer/football expectations - I predict that in the next 4 to 8 years there will be national shame in the US of A over our international failure at "that" game. The Ocean State? - that doesn't happen to be Vanuata by any chance? Hey - Joe will def get back to you. And to all here in the humidity - I hear you! - no A/C myself but then but then UI come in here and I'm freezing - more in a bit!
  10:28pm
Tony:

Enjoying the show in Flagstaff, Arizona
  10:40pm
Martha:

Also great luck/thanks to Texas, France (extra points for good sportsmanship), Oakland - you been checking out Billy Jam's live b'casts from there?, Long Island, Lodi - home of the Misfits if I correct? - sorry about the power; and finally AZ, was in the Chiracahuas [sp?] a while back, so beautiful -
  10:41pm
Martha:

slow response, poor queing, apologies
  10:42pm
Martha:

Tx Sct - thx for the link!
  10:49pm
texas scott:

that's what i'm hear for.

wow.the math question was 630+3.the the stepson of the beast.
  10:59pm
Looms:

@Texas Scott: i did have to type the number of the beast as a math question a few months ago.
@Martha: no extra points needed, the moto during any championship here is "let's the best win", any stupid nationalism is disliked.
Time to go to bed (at last!), have a good one! Great show!
  11:08pm
Tony:

Yeah Chiricahua is nice. But it's the opposite side of the state from where I am (I can't complain though. I'm just an hour and a half from the Grand Canyon). I went there last year. it was a good day, I hiked in the rocks in the morning, then drove down to the border and had lunch in Mexico.

  12:31am

OK, obvious the track you were referring to. Have never seen the GC (yeah but i am still American ) but loved that SW upland corner of AZ - amazing lizards and pine trees (which I am very very fond of - pines that is!).
  12:32am
Martha:

Thanks again all for checking in - hard to sometimes respond as I am cueing stuff up, etc. - but i appreciate it all -
