  3:04pm
tombom:

japanese is pretty cool.
  3:05pm
Mike East:

Wait! Magnet City Kids!!! Really!! I used to play with those guys down in New Brunswick...almost every week! How old is that record?
  3:05pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

wow, I've not known Irwin to miss a show too often.
  3:05pm
Dan:

Hey Keili. Keep on beastin!
  3:06pm
Ken:

No wayy! I got the MCK track in about 2008, so its a little old.
What other bands do you play in??

@Tombom- "pretty"?
  3:06pm
Ken:

HEY EVERYBODYYY
  3:07pm
DJ Keili:

oops i kept it as ken. THIS IS DJ KEILI
  3:07pm
Ike:

You're not Ken.
  3:07pm
DJ Keili:

Haha sorryyyy
  3:07pm
Ike:

That was funny.
  3:07pm
Skirkie:

What has been done to Irwin, I wonder.
  3:08pm
Nicos K:

G Luck I'm off to work!
  3:09pm
DJ Keili:

Im sure hes in a better place. OH WAIT- how is that possible.
  3:11pm
tombom:

everything is totally 'pretty' in my world!
  3:12pm
Mike East:

Magnet City Kids originally had members of The Atomic Missiles who I used to play with even more when I was in Plastic East
  3:13pm
FCC:

So do double station IDs at 4PM. No prob.
  3:13pm
Mike East:

other notable bands from that period - The Computers, Fortunado, Risk Relay...ahh basement shows...
  3:15pm
DJ Keili:

DOUBLE??
  3:15pm
DJ Keili:

Mike, you should turn me on to some of this stuff!
I need fresh bands!
  3:16pm
FCC:

You can handle double, right? :-P
  3:17pm
DJ Keili:

Is that a challenge, FCC? I'm ready for all challenges.
  3:18pm
Mike East:

I will do my best. Alot of these groups are now defunct, so I don't know if you can call it fresh, necessarily. They were all great and never really got their due...Although many have moved on to other projects, myself included. Luckily, I saved all the records that I used to swap with them over time.
  3:18pm
Dan:

Keili, can you tell me if Finally Punk have any cds, or are they strictly a vinyl kinda band?
  3:18pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

FCC is an IMPOSTER--the REAL FCC would never include an EMOTICON!
  3:19pm
FCC:

I just somehow knew you could :-P

They train us to sound like regular people when we ain't. Kind of like the guy at the top.
  3:20pm
Lisa:

DJ Keili:

  3:21pm
Lisa:

LIke mother/like daughter
  3:22pm
Dan:

Many thanks, to Lisa and Keili.
  3:23pm
Ike:

FCC, you lazy bastards, get over to Paterson and shut down that 90.9 reggae pirate scumbag who's interfering with FMU. Oh wait, you're too scared to go into Paterson, aren't you? Scaredy cats, scaredy cats.

  3:27pm
Lisa:

and remember the dude said they made it for under $20?!
  3:28pm
FCC:

Please remit the "daytime airshift tax" ASAP, or face liens and prison time.
  3:28pm
Dan:

  3:28pm
Charlie in London UK:

I feel like I'm in New York
  3:29pm
Lurlene:

  3:36pm
Toots:

PAUL! It's da mama! I miss you!
  3:36pm
DJ Keili:

OMG Postmanpaul!
I heart you.
HOW ARE YOU?
  3:36pm
Dan:

Tombom, obviously you have never gone to school. Otherwise you would know it's one of the worst, most miserable places and experiences anyone could go through.
  3:41pm
bennett4senate:

hello Keili I'm listenin' while I'm compressin' vids, while you're beastin' airwaves
  3:41pm
tombom:

  3:43pm
DJ Keili:

BENNET4SENATE. thaanx
  3:43pm

  3:44pm
postmanpaul:

Behind every coolest cleverest most beastin' 'fmu person in the whole goddam wide 'fmu world there's always the most coolest goddam dj mama, or I'm a banana!!!
Up to me neck in decorating at the mo and what with catching your show an' all I'm determined not to get too overcome by emulsion. He he.
  3:46pm
Toots:

How was Egypt? Any news on the special friend? I guess this is email worthy.
  3:46pm
tombom:

i'm very sorry. i will stop stepping on your toes.

"overcome by emulsion". that's amazing. i want an opportunity to use this awful pun.
  3:47pm
Toots:

This is like the old days... PdaP, Tombom, Ike, Dan...
  3:47pm
tj:

i become overcome by emulsion on a daily basis...
  3:47pm
postmanpaul:

Just pick up a paint brush Tombom. That's all there is to it!
  3:51pm
Toots:

I'm a sucker for this lilting, whiney, singer/songwriter stuff. Great choice, K!
  3:53pm
postmanpaul:

@ Toots - yeah! I discovered that I had not forgotten how to walk like an Egyptian after leaving there 7 years ago - spent 3 years there from 2000 (I'm not a noisy political/ religeous person btw). And yeah, she has become very special!
  3:54pm
Toots:

FYI K: http://auralstates.com/2010/02/album-review-lizz-king-all-songs-go-to-heaven-ehse-records.html
  3:55pm
postmanpaul:

Must get back to the walls....lovely show Keili.
  3:55pm
Toots:

I AM a noisy political/anti-religious person btw.
  3:56pm
Otsirh:

Keep on being awesome!
  3:57pm
Charlie in London UK:

Whats wrong with OLD Keili?
  3:57pm
Toots:

It's the same album, dude.
  3:59pm
Mama:

You're 17. It's understandable, but LEARN IT QUICK!
  4:00pm
tombom:

with the t

but i never know how to pronounce it. or bourgeious. howeveer your spell it. it makes talking about lefty politics a bit problematic
  4:00pm
Otsirh:

Your show rules! It makes me want to shout! But i shouldn't....
  4:00pm
postmanpaul:

...quiet maybe, but not politically/religiously impotent by any stretch of the imagination Toots, I can assure you.
  4:01pm
Charlie in London UK:

Keili said something like ".... not that you are old and stuff!"
  4:01pm
Toots:

Paul, impotent is not a word that would ever come to mind when thinking of you.
  4:03pm
Toots:

A Beastin' classic this is. I love the xylophone. It sounds like the one you get for a 6 mos old. And that's a good thing.
  4:06pm
postmanpaul:

There are other decorating analogies that come to mind when you say things like that, Toots. Like, if it's put up proper, it never falls down!
  4:09pm
Toots:

Well, I'm a metalsmith and glass smith. If I go into that glory hole we're all in for it.
  4:11pm
Toots:

Glassblowing involves three furnaces. The first, which contains a crucible of molten glass, is simply referred to as "the furnace." The second is called the "glory hole", and is used to reheat a piece in between steps of working with it
  4:14pm
postmanpaul:

Being an 'apprentice' stone letter-carver and aficionado of all things crafty, I got that Toots...!
Don't try it at home, Tombom.
  4:14pm
max:

hey Keili, hey everybody. jjuuusst tuning in nnnooooww
  4:16pm
tombom:

  4:17pm
justin:

  4:18pm
north guinea hills:

Lovely screwed.......
  4:18pm
Toots:

I like you more and more every time we meet up, Paul. When K and Tombom meet up to go stalk Thom, we should wait for them at the cafe with a bottle of something.
  4:18pm
Mama:

This is awesome K! Such a great version of a classic!
  4:21pm
postmanpaul:

Amazing tunes Keili, they're floooowing nicely.
Toots, my girl is a former textile designer and after raising the kids is now a mosaic designer, and if I may:-
http://www.areaatlas.com/mosaic/
  4:23pm
DJ Keili:

Who knows who sang that original Love Fool Song?
  4:24pm
postmanpaul:

I like what you're putting down Toots.
  4:24pm
justin:

if only every song had these outer-space dolphin noises! it would be a perfect world.
  4:25pm
tombom:

the jerseys? the jumpers? the woolen tops??

it's just not coming to mind!!
  4:26pm
max:

outer-space-dolphin-noise and slowed down disco are the only types of music that matter
  4:26pm
Mama:

Tombom! haha!
Paul - wow! she's got such a great sense of color and space! I love her work. Mosaics - everyone thinks they can do it. But it can go so wrong. Beautiful work!
  4:27pm
north guinea hills:

Rave pie, better then floor pie.....
  4:28pm
still b/p:

re: doublin' the ol' home improvement entendre -- I heard someone recalling his earlier Brit radio show, where in one bit the gardening designer/expert would advise such things as, "Well, first we want to stuff some creepers up your trellis."
  4:28pm
Mama:

Paul:

  4:46pm

A Very very nice item of jewelry Toots. Anna was wandering what size they are?!
  5:37pm
Toots:

Well, there is a certain American Icon who I cut to bits and cast in sterling. I can't say her name outloud. But it begins with a Barb and ends with an e. So naturally, they are a very unrealistic size and totally out of proportion. Just like our cars.
  5:39pm
postmanpaul:

Got ya. We must do this again soon. Great being here Keili.
