A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Hey, lighten up on the whole "take the day off to vote" Trouble. Here in Chicago, where vote early, vote often, is regarded as a civic responsibility, it does take all day! I mean, so many polling paces to cover, but I miss the old days when the ward bosses took you from place to place, with all you could drink in between. Ah, but there I go, pining for the old days again. Terrific show, but that is redundant. Chicago John

  10:14am
Curmudgeon:

I'll just say this about that:
in NYS only dems and reps are allowed to vote in the primaries, leaving out all other voters to choose the parties for election in november. WTF is that all about? Myself, I'm registered independent, but that's ignored..Why should I vote in an election in which I get no point of view or choice? Choose a paper ballot, nonetheless; and be sure your write-in has registered ahead of time or your vote doesn't count in some states. Shit's f-ed up folks.
  10:18am
marc:

malcolm mclaren does a great song called "jumping in my shirt."

Hi Trouble, hi all - did Stu ever find out anything more about Gnoma.D? still hard to find him on the interweb
  10:53am

leigh: Gnoma.D. contacted me but he didn't mention anything about any new music. he sent me to a you tube thing he did with some other guys that wasn't like the Gnoma.D. stuff so much...that's all i can tell you.
  11:00am
Leigh:

Thanks so much! He's so cool.
  11:02am

There's a guy up here in Canada named Buck 65 whom I'd say that Gnoma.D guy is ripping off. But maybe it's the other way around... Anyway, VERY similar.

Well, yes it is. But Danny Baker, former NME journo and broadcaster of the first water has announced he's being treated for cancer. He's a genius of the airwaves and any good thoughts towards him will, I'm sure, be most welcome.
  11:29am
Francis (not the saint):

While going through my dresser this morning, I realized that I have nothing with the color red in it, perhaps I'm missing something, perhaps I need to expand my horizons...so tired of being vertical!
  11:33am

Trouble, watched 'An Education' the other day in which Juliette Greco popped up in the story/score. I immediately thought of you, though I can't recall hearing her on your show. Cheers.
  11:34am
