Bright Mellow Moon does mostly sound like NWW apart from the first and last track. Very nice record of course.

  4:21am
Bas, NL:

Hi Jeff; well it's just me blogging on myspace really. And a little stale for now (i get a headache from the current myspace...)
But try to find 'poesboes' on there; that's me.
  4:27am
jeff-m:

  4:45am
Looms:

I remember watching at Feardrop festival an experimental movie (black & white abstract and beautiful images) for which Köner composed the soundtrack. Can't remember the title. Rings any bell?
  4:46am
jeff-m:

not for me, but sounds beautiful
  4:58am
Looms:

I knew saving my entry tickets would be usefull one day: it was Das Goldene Tor by Jurgen Reble.
Yeah, beautiful music by Köner, as always.
  5:05am
Bas, NL:

Köner is my new find for today. What fantastic sounds!
  5:08am
Kenzo:

  5:08am
jeff-m:

  5:08am
jeff-m:

cheers Kenzo, thank you
  5:11am
Looms:

Most of the sounds (if not all) on these records are generated by gongs, then procesed with much love and care. That's how he gets these warm and huge drones.
The new one (if La Barca) is a bit different, with a open range of concrete sounds. As wonderful though. Really dig this artist.
  5:14am
jeff-m:

Yeah La Barca more of a tape recorded street sample feel to it. Still that feeling of stillness and isolation- at least that's what I call it... is the main focus
  5:18am
jeff-m:

sorry to be lazy tonight , jsut feel like doing an impromptu koner lovefest
should see if we have La Barca in Library...
  5:18am
Looms:

Agreed, sounds like the good old Köner's way. It was my fave record of 2010.
  5:56am
Looms:

"Lazy" but nice show, thanks!
  5:58am
jeff-m:

night all, happy Sunday .etc. thanks for listening
  5:59am
Bas, NL:

Thanks again Jeff.
