Jeep:

This sounds suspiciously like my vacuum.
  9:07pm
Martha:

I dunno - my vacuum sounds more functional than this -
  9:15pm
Richard from Venezuela:

Greetings Martha. Thanks for the Demdike Stare's song from the last week show. It was a pleasant music discovery.
And love this new release from Belong. Keep Still and Different Heart are my favorites.
  9:22pm
Martha:

Hey Richard - Just checking out the new Belong for the first time tonight - and glad you enjoyed Demdike Stare - thanks for checking in -
  9:30pm

  9:34pm

Martha, do you know where I can find their music?? I tried googling them but I am not having much luck :(
  9:36pm
Martha:

  9:38pm
Richard from Venezuela:

tomB:

Oh! At 1st I thought these Bedsores were going to be the Black Lodge Singers.
  10:15pm
Martha:

Can I ask why?
  10:30pm
ken:

martha, any chance / luck to find Bouncing Babies compilation, i think you'd really like it ?? ( i just checked a bit on the web and it was way too pricey). 9353's song Ten Witches was a favorite of mine.
btw, i finally watched the jandek movie (documentary) last night and wouldn't mind hearing some if the mood strikes you.
and as always, great show.

hellbilly13:

LPO ...me like good
  11:16pm
tomB:

@Martha Can I ask why?
The incessant pounding beat that the Bedsores with which begin sounds like the lead-up to a typical powwow song. Btw, th opening drums of this Black Helicopter song are also the right pitch for Black Lodge Singers, but the beat is too complex. Black Lodge is minimalist and strict tempo.
  11:29pm
Martha:

Hey all - thanks for checking in - can't really respond at the moment - kind of busy - later yes!
  11:32pm
woofmute:

urgh this is drivin' me nuts: I'm using the excellent wfmu app and attempting to scrobble the tracks to last.fm, and they show as being scrobbled for a few seconds and then dissappear from last.fm. anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
  11:39pm
Martha:

w/rt tribal beats - for lack of a better way of expressing it - I always love that rhythm regardless of the song itself so that is likely why you are picking it up!
  11:41pm
Martha:

Know and LOVE that Bouncing Babies comp - tho' don't know if we have it here - will check for it - among the other bands on it i [heart] Void -
  11:42pm
Martha:

And Richard - always happy to check out new stuff - no worries about being forward!
  11:47pm
tomB:

Another song w great drums. Are these conscious choices on your part, Martha? Or is it that you have found the proper settings on the board that elude other DJs?
