  12:11pm Pat in Philadelphia:

Update that setlist! I'd love to know what I'm listening to right now. Could this really be James Brown?!
  12:15pm Drummer Some:

Pat in Philadelphia,
This is a playlist for my radio show this evening! The show starts at 6pm. (An edited version of James Brown track will open the show.) Stop back here at 6pm!
  12:16pm Pat in Philadelphia:

Ah ha, oops. Thanks. I'll tune in at 6.
  5:45pm texas scott:

record fiends UNITE!!!

uh,does scratchy mp3s count?
  5:46pm Drummer Some:

Scratchy old MP3s are the BEST. If there is one thing I ain't, it's a fidelity snob. (Though some of my best friends are fidelity snobs.)
  5:57pm listener james from westwood:

I'm not ready for summer, but I'm ready for Drummer.
  5:57pm Drummer Some:

Drummertime, and the living is easy...
  5:58pm listener james from westwood:

(But I'm more ready for summer than for another merciless siege like last winter. And I'll take fall overall!)
  5:58pm ndbob:

heya doug and everyone!
  5:59pm ndbob:

  6:08pm Drummer Some:

Too bad he can't teach you, Pat. (Not that you need it or nuthin'.)

This first set is definitely a dinner-eater-pleaser, Annie.
  6:11pm dc pat:

Oh I need some learnin for sure. I spent the last 30 years trying NOT to play guitar right. To play like Son is going to take another 30...
  6:12pm Marmalade Kitty:

  6:20pm jaycjay:

I anticipate spending a lot of time at Record Fiend... starting sometime when I don't already have great songs streaming to me.
  6:22pm ndbob:

woops - a few of them
  6:24pm ndbob:

didn't the stovall sisters sing backup on "spirit in the sky"?

How many songs are there that mention Zeppelins?
  6:29pm listener james from westwood:

Not sure, but there oughta be more!
  6:29pm Drummer Some:

You are correct. Norman Greenbaum was secretly the oldest Stovall, in drag.
