  10:51am
jason:

anybody drinking iced coffee? Here's an interesting article from Doron http://www.quora.com/Why-is-iced-coffee-more-expensive-than-hot-coffee
  10:51am
Azam:

Brighton in the low 60s, so not hot but nice...morning been and gone...but had espresso strength coffee...
  10:52am
Dead Corporate Eyes:

iced coffee does nasty things to me
  10:53am
...:

I'm in the middle of a Sun Araw jam and it's about 2000 degrees Kelvin. I am drinking a most delicious audio nectar.
  10:54am
Cecile:

my iced coffee is usually just leftover coffee I throw in the fridge. Cold press is just too hard for me to take these days. Too strong.
  10:54am
Carmichael:

I'm drinking my usual double-strength Irish Breakfast tea. Nothing like starting the day out with rocket fuel.

Thanks for the shout out on the mixing board, Jason!
  10:55am
other david:

I think I'm gonna have to make coffee, it's a not-so-toasty 7C here... yes it's June in Ireland
  10:55am
Cecile:

..., I think that's where I am at, too.
  10:57am

  11:02am
BSI:

12 hours ago it was Unibroue's La Fin du Monde over here...
  11:02am
Mark K:

Great show this morning Jason!
  11:03am
Cecile:

You like Sun Ra, apparently. Because of the Ark...
  11:03am
Carmichael:

I just sponsored the board, hogging the glory and letting someone else do the heavy lifting.
  11:04am
Cheri Pi:

I read a great book a few years ago that explored the Ark theme in Sun Ra & Lee Perry's work.
  11:09am

  11:24am
Cheri Pi:

DCP-the title curretn'y escapes me, I work in a library though so I'll try and come up with it for you.
  11:28am
Dean C. Rowan:

Graham Lock's Blutopia is about mythical aspects surrounding the music making of Sun Ra, Anthony Braxton, and Duke Ellington. I don't recall whether Lee Perry was in the mix.
  11:29am
Dean C. Rowan:

Yeah, he's in there: http://books.google.com/books?id=o8wFfiCLGyIC&q=lee+perry#v=snippet&q=lee%20perry&f=false
  11:30am
Cecile:

Blutopia sounds like a place where Bluto runs the show.
  11:30am
yair Yona (Tel Aviv, Earth):

What, I missed the all the fun?? Hi everyone
  11:31am
glenn:

would that be worse than popeyetopia?
  11:31am
Cheri Pi:

I don't think that's the book-but it's close... I think Parliament might have been in there too having explored the Ark theme.
  11:38am
Ike:

Hey hey hey! Great show this morning Jason! I hope that FM signal holds out. I'm listening on 91.1 this morning.
  11:43am
fleep:

It's 58 degrees and dreary in Los Angeles, and I'm drinking a combination of yesterday's leftover coffee mixed with fresh new coffee, a coffee cuvee.
