  3:07am
Marmalade Kitty:

Morning Bill, how are you today?
  3:08am
Looms:

Hello Bill! Bonjour Chaton! Hello holiday!
  3:11am
Marmalade Kitty:

Bonjour Looms :)
  3:12am
Bill Mac:

Hello There Lady and Gentleman!
Happy Satur.... wait.... Monday!
  3:13am
Looms:

Whit monday, sir! Holiday over Europe :)
chauds lapins (hot bunnies) means "sex addicts" in french.
  3:20am
Bill Mac:

Wow, I'm batting 1000 here already! A holiday AND sex addicts AND my Saturday crew all in one instant! OK, so "batting 1000" is an American term used in baseball implying perfection. Simply put, if a batter gets 4 hits in 4 tries (or at bats) he has a batting average of 1000... there, I feel somewhat better now that I explained that to you. I'm also showing my age by using a somewhat dated slang that I've carried on courtesy of my old Dad. Maybe we can trade off on different slang and esoterica during the show today....
  3:20am
Marmalade Kitty:

It's nice to see you here this morning Bill! I don't think anybody has day off in uk? :(
  3:21am
Bill Mac:

Oh yeah.... Happy Whit Monday to all!!!!
  3:21am
Bill Mac:

I KNOW nobody has the day off here...
  3:26am
Emile:

Hey Bill and the other Bill-ites out there...
  3:27am
Bill Mac:

Hey Emile, welcome to the Bill-a-thon...
  3:28am
Looms:

Hey Emile!
That's right Kitty! This Whit monday stopped being a bank holiday in the UK in 1967.
  3:34am
Looms:

Bill, someday I'll try to understand baseball rules and what a batting average is. But you're batting 1000 with the playlist so far, most catchy tunes!
  3:37am
Bill Mac:

Looms, that's really all you need to know.... we got some sleep tonite before the show too... always a plus!
  3:39am
Marmalade Kitty:

I loved that Komintern track!
  3:42am
Bill Mac:

Me too! Apparently Komintern are a rad 60's French band. Never heard of them! and it didn't feel like a 16 minute track either!
  3:42am
Leslie Nielsen:

I want to know what happened to the duck.
  3:43am
Martyn:

Where did my duck go? That's been puzzling me for years.
Happy Monday!
  4:02am
Marmalade Kitty:

Geordie slang: "I'm gannin doon the toon, te droon me sorrows in a bottle o' broon!
  4:03am
Emile:

What's the story on Sanso-xtra? Very cool...
  4:04am
Looms:

"I'm gonna ? the ?, to drown my sorrows in a bottle of ?" :)
  4:06am
Marmalade Kitty:

:) translation: I'm going down to the town to drown my sorrows in a bottle of brown ale!! !
  4:08am
Marmalade Kitty:

Can bill say the geordie accent? :)
  4:08am
Looms:

Oh, that's a challenge!
  4:10am
Emile:

The way i judge whether a record store is deep enough is if it has wevie stonder cd's....
  4:12am
Emile:

Their EP 'Kenyan Harry' is great.
  4:15am
Bill Mac:

I figger if I stand still and keep my mouth closed long enough you'll all forget that I'm still here.... geordie accent huh? I can barely speak English... you should get the DJ that's on after me on Saturday's to do it... he's constantly doing voices... someone needs to take away his caffeine in the morning...
  4:18am
Geordie Accent:

Everybody hates me, boohoo
  4:22am
Marmalade Kitty:

howay, divvent cry man!
  4:32am
Marmalade Kitty:

Shrunken Planet is a great show! For a relaxing saturday morning lie in..
  4:34am
Bill Mac:

Jeff is awesomely funny off mike...
  4:39am
Steve:

  4:40am
Marmalade Kitty:

Hahaha!!
  4:40am
Bill Mac:

Maybe I shouldn't sleep before the show
  4:41am
Bill Mac:

Hi Steve!
  4:43am
Steve:

Remember this tune?
http://snipurl.com/breadbutter
  4:45am
Bill Mac:

Hey it's the Sunbeam Bread music!
  4:47am
Steve:

Poor Jimmy; good to raise our social consciousness.
  4:48am
Looms:

Speaking of accents, there's a English movie entitled Snatch (by Guy Ritchie) which is amazingly funny.
  4:51am
Bill Mac:

I might have seen that one..... time for a review...
  5:07am
Emile:

Thanks for the follow-up, Bill.
  5:09am
Bill Mac:

No problem Emile.... scant info upon initial look... but something
  5:11am
Emile:

Beefheart!
  5:14am
Bill Mac:

Fast and Bulllllllbusssssss!!!
  5:15am
Looms:

Oh, thanks for reminding me: Bill, your Beefheart cover during the marathon finale was great! You have a very good voice, sir.
  5:19am
Bill Mac:

Yeah, I have a memory like Beefheart too..... but thanks a lot... it's always a hoot to belt out the hits... Mr Williams, (the leader of Hoof and mouth) asked me to sing on his cover of "Call on Me" from "Safe As Milk".Scott's giving it as part of his 2011 Marathon premium. I hurt myself singing that one but it was a blast.
  5:25am
Looms:

I don't remember of all the preniums I picked up this year... I'll see that when my swag will be here.
  5:26am
Looms:

Sorry you hurt yourself but yes, it was a blast.
  5:27am
Marmalade Kitty:

Can we listen to the Hoof and mouth in the archive?
  5:27am
Looms:

Yes Kitty, wait...
  5:28am
Marmalade Kitty:

Is Bills Beefheart there!
  5:28am
Looms:

  5:29am
Looms:

And you can SEE it here: http://wfmu.org/playlists/SZ
  5:29am
Bill Mac:

I think it's called Safe as Banana Suicide - a tribute to three of Scotts favorite albums - Beefhearts Safe as Milk, Velvet Undergrounds Banana album and Sucide's first.... it's a combination of his plals and legit artist releases... it's really pretty good.
  5:30am
Bill Mac:

I haven't watched it yet.... it was SUPPOSED to be perfect!!! I think the 1st minute 12 seconds was....
  5:32am
Marmalade Kitty:

Cool!! Thanks looms! Bill, I saw "Hot head" on the list, is the beefheart on as well?
  5:34am
Bill Mac:

Hot Head IS the Beefheart one.... the band is so good, but they're better live...
  5:36am
Marmalade Kitty:

Ooops sorry, duh! :)
  5:36am
Bill Mac:

Hey, sometimes the threads are hard to follow!
