Listener comments!

  12:11pm
Mr. Lowry:

No more mosquitos!
  12:23pm
Cecile:

wow, this is a gem. Cool. Cross between Sun Ra and the SOS band.
  12:24pm
Cecile:

Who knows about this acid DJ/Producer in the late 80s, Armando? Got the Juan McLean DJ Kicks and am now nuts about him.
  12:24pm
Duane:

Cecile:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEgS4nRgFj4
  12:26pm
Cecile:

Holy crap. Where is this from?
  12:26pm
Duane:

Armando pretty much is my fave chicago acid house producer. He died of leukemia in '96. "Confusion's Revenge" by him is on eof my favorite songs of all time!
  12:27pm
Hubba:

Any DeBarge edits?
  12:27pm
Hubba:

I went to bed last night wrestling with "Rhythm of the Night." It was a long night.
  12:27pm
Duane:

Hubba; I actually have a few..let me see if I brought one!
  12:27pm
Cecile:

McLean played Don't take it with Sharvelle on that set. Incredible.
  12:28pm
Cecile:

I like a lot of Debarge ballads, tons of unusual harmonies. Pretty dang sophisticagted.
  12:29pm
Cecile:

Just downloaded the Trax set. Doesn't have Don't Take It, but the cut on DJ Kicks is unmixed.
  12:30pm
Duane:

Cecille: Yeah that track's a monster!! It wasn't released until ''09, but it was made in '89. My crew Bim Marx put that tune on a podcast last winter. Armando was amazing. You should check out Lil Louis as well if you like that sound
  12:30pm
Hubba:

A government report came out stating that $32,000 worth of UPS uniforms was bought recently on ebay sparking concerns of bogus UPS delivery people.
Pass to the rest of the family.
  12:31pm
Cecile:

I love Lil Louis. Right now my emusic is getting filled up with all the house I missed in the 90s. Although I did not sleep on Ten CIty. Love Byron Stingily's voice.
  12:38pm
Ike:

Hey Hubba, that's an old one you've dredged up:
http://www.snopes.com/rumors/upsuniforms.asp

Ahhh, bad old-fashioned e-mail chain urban legends. What is this, 1998?
  12:38pm
Hubba:

It better be... or I'll be loenly
  12:39pm
J J:

Oh damn, it's Duane! Forgot. Just tuned in.
  12:40pm
Brownie:

If such a purchase did happen, I'd expect it was some porn production company. It's a variation of the pizza delivery trope.
  12:41pm
Mike East:

sources tell me there is a Super Fly musical in the works.
  12:42pm
Hubba:

Is ther a group out there called Special Delivery?
  12:42pm
Cecile:

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW
  12:43pm
Hubba:

  12:44pm

  1:36pm
Duane:

Mike: Oh Wow!! I was wondering who else thought that was a lil off..thought it was just me
  1:37pm
Ike:

The whole damn show was a little off from that point onwards. The first 2.5 or so seasons were great though.
  1:37pm

The remix / manipulation of Magic Man is a masterpiece. It has managed to reveal the essence of an otherwise mundane burn-out corporate rock tune.
