Oh my God! You just played "Bald Headed Woman" by the Jerms. This group was from my home town. We used to play this record at my neighbors house and hear it on Big KEWI radio.. I have not heard this for decades. You have my deepest respect. Thank you.
  1:57pm
Ike:

Not bad, not bad at all! "Double Whammy" especially hit the spot. Overall I usually go more for the Liz B. and crazy Fabio-type stuff on FMU but this is nice.

Mark Dillman:

I am pretty sure the above pictured 45rpm of the Jerms came in a picture sleeve. I remember seeing it in the 1960s and again in the 1980s. There is a band photo in the online archives of the Lawrence (KS) Journal-World newspaper and there is another 45 by the group heard on You Tube. No links can be posted here so please do your own search if you are interested. Is this label shot courtesy of Deke Dickerson?
  10:49am
Debbie D:

Thanks, Mark. I was actually looking for a photo of the Jerms and couldn't find one! Yes, this 45 photo is from Deke. He also pointed me to "Since You Went Away" which you can hear on youtube. Glad you were listening when I played it, Mark.
