  3:48pm
Robert:

I appreciate this music, thanks. I'm also frying food and naked, which leads to a good slogan or title for music: Frying Naked. That means it's hot, and the burns can hurt a little, but the product is good.
  3:49pm
Matt from Springfield:

(awkward hesitation in replying to Robert's comment)
  3:49pm
Das:

Hope your not frying cocktail sausages
  3:50pm
>>><<<:

hahaha, dont cut hot peppers then touch your...
  3:50pm
Das:

I'd like to strike my last comment from the record.
  3:50pm
Matt from Springfield:

@Robert: Fried hot dogs are good, but a burnt wiener can hurt for a lifetime...

(Strike this, as well)
  3:50pm
Fry Oil:

Coming up: Cracked Sausage.
  3:52pm
Matt from Springfield:

@>>><<<: A friend said that her brother was once cleaning off a kitchen shelf that had a jar of really hot peppers, spilt and hardened on the bottom. Then he went to the bathroom without washing his hands! You know the rest...
  3:53pm
Hugo Chavez:

(dancing around the room, humming)
  3:54pm
Mike East:

@Matt - I've done that before....sometimes even after you wash your hands, there's still some residue from the hot peppers.
  3:55pm
anonymous:

my wife has not been happy with me after cutting those peppers
  3:55pm
Three Way:

talk about OUCH
  3:56pm
Peppers:

We're not hot to taste good, we're hot to get other life forms to cross us off the to-eat list. But human beings are notoriously stubborn and slow learners.

  4:01pm
Guessing:

Mount Hope is actually their pet name for the "fan" between them in the pic.
  4:02pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

wait, what does a bale of hay have to do with that?
  4:04pm
Robert:

Orange Co.
Because the ID wasn't required to include the state, for some time after WHDC was acquired, I was confused because I thought t meant Mt. Hope NJ.
Years ago I also thought Ken F. was slighting WHDC in the written online hx of WFMU, not saying what programming it had between the time it got its CP and when it became WFMU's satellite. Then Ken informed me it had never gotten beyond the CP stage!
  4:07pm
Robert:

Heh, and I wondered why as I traveled north on NJ 15, farther from Mt. Hope NJ, the 90.1 signal got STRONGER!

Mt. Hope NY is near Middletown. Maybe that's Sullivan Co.
  4:09pm
wikipedia:

Mount Hope is a town in Orange County, New York, United States. The first known settler arrived around 1733.
  4:10pm
Indians:

Yeah, we never touched the place before 1733.
  4:10pm
cozita:

put the peppers in a blender don't forget about their medicinal purposes
  4:12pm
ryan from pa:

keep it going with the older stuff, finish it off with "we are cracked latin"
  4:12pm
Wild Neil:

Stairway-DENIED!!!!
  4:14pm
Matt from Springfield:

As a geographer, big+ for mentioning Maracaibo. Venezuela's 2nd largest city, where the oil output comes to port, yet most can't name another city besides Caracas. Go Cracked Latin!
  4:15pm
>>><<<:

Luis was born there, he probably knows
  4:18pm
Matt from Springfield:

"My Miami" Unplugged!

THANK YOU so much, Cracked Latin!
Thank you Lane, Luis, Charlie, Ernie Indradat (I think he's been engineering all the BT sets lately), Irwin, and WFMU!
  4:20pm
Matt from Springfield:

Well obviously Luis knows, he grew up there (and just sang it in the song). Just saying that most Americans aren't familiar with Venezuela places, except possibly Caracas.
  4:21pm
>>><<<:

agreed. Great gig!
  4:21pm

Possibly the Stuffies' idea was:

Hey, Astley -- NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN
  5:46pm
Matt from Springfield:

I like those Shirley Ellis songs, shame to hear about Lincoln Chase. "When You Walk In The Room" is another great song.
  5:47pm
dale:

thumbs carlisle does a great version of caravan
  5:48pm
Matt from Springfield:

With synths and drum programming like this, the vocals would be better served by Amanda.
  5:54pm
Matt from Springfield:

Wow, I've heard this Dan before--no idea the title was "Green Earrings".
  5:56pm
Topher:

Thank you Sir!
