	5:40pm Capitalist: Health care is the largest part of the economy (nearly 20%) with the MOST GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT. Hence the pricing distortions. The government lowballs health care provider reimbursements, so they can buy more votes with the money they have. The health care providers then try to make that shortfall up by overcharging private insurers. But soon government will be the only game in Health Care Town, and if you think you'll like how they treat you, instead just envision how it would be to argue with the IRS and you'll just about be getting it right.

Up is down, and left is right, and the bill that will force everyone in the US to buy private, ineffectively regulated insurance is going to be the government takeover of healthcare. Allowing for a voluntary Medicare buy-in or a public option would have been more effective in putting a nail in our corrupt for-profit insurance industry, but that just shows you how devious our muslim president is. It's just Like LaPierre from the NRA said- Obama is loosening gun control laws so he can get re-elected, and THEN he's going to take the guns away. Because that's what makes the most sense.

	1:51pm Reality Check: @MK: If someone has zero income they are obviously doing nothing for anyone else in society, but instead are expecting everyone to take care of them. That's called "infancy". @Scott: When you work for a living, every dollar you make is a profit. You sell your time and effort and skill for a money profit. Why is it ok for you to make a profit, but not someone who tries to make a rational calculation about how much health insurance a group of people will need over time? Is that a useless skill? But if it is, just pay as you go. COBRA is 1000 a month often. Paying cash, I can't recall a month ever where I paid 1000. Usually it's somewhere from 0 to 500. See, I easily cut out the evil insurance companies, except in case of catastrophe (which is really what insurance is for; insurance is not there to make every little medical activity cost-free by hiding what things really cost).

The government lowballs health care provider reimbursements, so they can buy more votes with the money they have. The health care providers then try to make that shortfall up by overcharging private insurers. But soon government will be the only game in Health Care Town, and if you think you'll like how they treat you, instead just envision how it would be to argue with the IRS and you'll just about be getting it right.

I just have catastrophic coverage. I don't expect my car insurance to pay for oil changes, either. How weird of me, just to handle ordinary things in an ordinary way without expecting a Magic Daddy to take care of everything for wittle me so I ever don't have to worry my pwetty wittle head making my own decisions about what to pay for what!

Up is down, and left is right, and the bill that will force everyone in the US to buy private, ineffectively regulated insurance is going to be the government takeover of healthcare. Allowing for a voluntary Medicare buy-in or a public option would have been more effective in putting a nail in our corrupt for-profit insurance industry, but that just shows you how devious our muslim president is. It's just Like LaPierre from the NRA said- Obama is loosening gun control laws so he can get re-elected, and THEN he's going to take the guns away. Because that's what makes the most sense.

	1:51pm Reality Check: @MK: If someone has zero income they are obviously doing nothing for anyone else in society, but instead are expecting everyone to take care of them. That's called "infancy". @Scott: When you work for a living, every dollar you make is a profit. You sell your time and effort and skill for a money profit. Why is it ok for you to make a profit, but not someone who tries to make a rational calculation about how much health insurance a group of people will need over time? Is that a useless skill? But if it is, just pay as you go. COBRA is 1000 a month often. Paying cash, I can't recall a month ever where I paid 1000. Usually it's somewhere from 0 to 500. See, I easily cut out the evil insurance companies, except in case of catastrophe (which is really what insurance is for; insurance is not there to make every little medical activity cost-free by hiding what things really cost).
