Live performance and chat with Misty Roses (Robert Conroy and Michael Harron) (Click here for a video of "Address Book.")

The dark and the dramatic elements of towering song from a bygone era are the stylistic embodiments of Misty Roses' music. Fronted by Robert Conroy and Johnny Perl, they channel the likes of Scott Walker, Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach,, Serge Gainsbourg, Jimmy Webb, Ennio Morricone and many other musicians who incorporate a certain sweeping orchestral sound into their work. Since carrying an orchestra with them is a bit out of the price range these days, Misty Roses often strips things down to an electronic version. Misty Roses strips down even further to an acoustic version with piano for their latest performance on Irene's show.
