Hello Joe.
  12:05pm PFFlyer:

  12:06pm frenchee:

I like the new intro music!
  12:07pm pierre:

Bonjour Joe

  12:07pm Carmichael:

Ronald! Holy Moly, an in-house celebrity!
  12:12pm Joe B:

  12:14pm Marmalade kitty:

  12:16pm SmokinJ:

Hey Joe & all... 50 degrees on Jan 10.. We ARE rockin'!
  12:18pm PFFlyer:

I alrady had to share that Bamboo Kids song via FB. Awesome...
  12:19pm Joe B:

J, I hear ya! lovin it, Hi Kitty! Bamboo Kids rule!
  12:21pm das:

great tune!
  12:21pm SmokinJ:

Joe: I'll email you a bratwurst..
  12:22pm Mike East:

Missed Holmes last Sunday, but they sounded great on the radio. The guitar was especially rockin'!
  12:24pm SmokinJ:

That Holmes show did sound good.. Kudos to the mixer..
  12:25pm jljl:

I assume that Fadeaways is different from the Japanese band?
  12:31pm Joe B:

@ jljl, Fadeaways from japan, one and the same!

Glad you guys dug the Holmes gig! was a blast!
  12:35pm Joe B:

mmmmmm .... bratwurst
  12:35pm PFFlyer:

I believe the Remains are hitting the stage in Boston this weekend. We actually heard some of their songs in Minneapolis back in the day....although I have learned they had much more airplay regionally back east. I got WLS Chicago on my old tube radio via "skip" when the atmosphere was just right and they played the Remains too.
  12:37pm Joe B:

I've seen the Remains 3 times, always AMAZING!
  12:43pm jljl:

Joe, how could the Fadeaways have put something out in 2008? They look like they're 18.
  12:46pm Marmalade kitty:

any one else having 128k streaming problem? rebuffering every 20 seconds?
  12:47pm Woo:

Golden Clouds sounds like Ups and Downs by Paul Revere
  12:47pm Joe B:

They are youthful! Kitty, dunno, will forward to those who need to know!
  12:55pm PFFlyer:

128 working perfect here via Winamp. I feel like pulling a Jack Kerouac eastbound this weekend, Boston first on Friday, then NYC Saturday night. Trains, planes & automobiles required.
  12:58pm Woo:

Great great show today Joe!
  1:00pm Joe B:

Thanks Woo! I hear ya on the Paul revere reference. Thanks PFF for the report on the stream!
  1:13pm jljl:

i'm getting confused by you posting the song titles way before they're played. Love this Bloody Hollies record
  1:15pm Joe B:

ohm guess i am not accounting for the delay in the broadcast. sorry
  1:16pm jljl:

but there's 2 songs after the BH on your list now. it doesn't delay that much.
  1:17pm Joe B:

dont follow. i did play 2 songs after bloody hollies.
  1:23pm Mike Sin:

Lots of fine tracks off that Twin Guns' Album!

The online playlist happens fairly instantaneously after hitting "enter." In terms of delay, I think the broadcast signal is about 20 seconds behind real time and the streaming signal might be another 20 behind that... The delay can't be more than 30 or 40 seconds while listening on the stream if the info is entered on the playlist right at the start of the song.
  1:24pm jljl:

i know but they were already listed on your page and even listening online, it's not delayed 2 full songs so that I'd be hearing BH and you're hearing Twin Guns or M. Cronin. Whatever, it all works out.
  1:24pm Joe B:

probably operator error. what do you hear now?
  1:29pm jljl:

now it's the first song after break.
Too funny, Wes told me about the 1st Born Liars LP too and is supposedly sending it to us. Small world
  1:33pm Marmalade kitty:

all ok now, thanks Joe B!
  1:37pm PFFlyer:

Kaiser George! (?)
  1:38pm Joe B:

you got it! Kaiser George cover!
  1:39pm Marmalade kitty:

this sounds like the word 13th floor elevators cover
  1:40pm PFFlyer:

Even sounded like the Kaiser's VERY unique gee-tar, Bubba-Louie!
  1:46pm John L.:

How about some Faces, to celebrate Rod Stewart's birthday.
  1:56pm G:

brief detour to experimental noise, thanks to the CD :-)
  2:01pm KP:

Great Raiders song. Dont know it.
  2:02pm KP:

Hey they ruined the mystery of the Pink Puzz!
  2:04pm KP:

You're making nervous with all this Raiders stuff.
  2:10pm John L.:

Awesome!!! Great box set.
  2:10pm PKNY:

It's so good to hear pre-cornball Rod Stewart.
  2:10pm Joe B:

probably the best box ever.

KP, sorry for the scare! Revere's birthday last week
  2:16pm Cheri Pi:

Joe I agree too! I had the same thought and had to look at the playlist when he played Yonkers yesterday.
  2:18pm Joe B:

love this record! they did a previous collaboration a few years ago as well.
  2:20pm Mike Sin:

Paul Revere was at Louise & Jerry's? Too much!

Between the Jeff Beck Group, his first five LPs on Mercury, and his material with Faces on Warner Bros., Rod Stewart has contributed to so much downright GREAT (IMHO, of course) material to choose from!
  2:21pm Joe B:

I think 5 was it for the Mercury solo LPs. There is a great 3-CD comp that has every track he recorded for Mercury!
  2:25pm PFFlyer:

ohhh...that dark stuff, like the Ravonettes. Think I'll check into the Wooden Shjips after your show. Diggin' it.
  2:30pm John L.:

Do I hear a little Ronnie Lane in his voice?
  2:31pm Joe B:

They played on Brian's show in November!
  2:33pm KP:

Prefer his early solo stuff to w/faces but that's just me. Maybe Im Amazed is amazing but would prefer if lane sang whole thing!
  2:34pm Joe B:

funny thing is Faces back him up on some Mercury songs! And Ron Wood and McLagen play on almost all of it!
  2:34pm KP:

By way, JB i didt mention caught Mike Sin on Saturday. Quite awesome. Also Faye last week. Very great.
  2:36pm KP:

Yeah but there's a Mandolin Wind breezing through.
  2:37pm KP:

Oops! There's me bus!
  2:53pm Cheri Pi:

Delayed reaction- LONG GONES!!!!
  2:55pm Listener Jimbo:

Thanks for another great show Joe!
  2:58pm Joe B:

thanks Jimbo! Cheri, - THE LONG GONES!
  2:59pm Mike Sin:

Another fun show, Joe!
