Hey All! Thanks for all the comments. @Eric, I don't know anything definitive, so I don't want to gossip, I'm keeping my fingers crossed- LOVE that place! It's the only authentic venue left in NJ!
  2:06pm
artnews:

the only glaxo babies song i ever heard b'sides 'this is your life.'
  2:07pm
joe:

@Eric this is basically the only info that has been released at this point http://www.mycentraljersey.com/article/20120118/NJNEWS/301180038/Court-Tavern-New-Brunswick-closes-indefinitely?odyssey=nav%7Chead

@artnews: that's funny, I always play "Christine Keeler" by them...of course when I say 'always' I mean once every 4 years or so. Last time I aired that song was in 2008. Worth checking out tho!
  2:17pm
Cecile:

ha! I love Sentenced. Are they back together?
You should play "I Kill Myself" sometimes. It's hilarious.
  2:19pm
Cecile:

Der. I have this. It's from Down. I need to revisit that.
  2:19pm
Eric Lau:

Thanks for the info. Bummed...
  2:20pm
Cecile:

and, hey hail Finland.
  2:23pm
Mike East:

@joe - very vague article. I wonder whats going on. Lotsa memories for me at that place.
  2:24pm
BSI:

CRAP! I dash out for lunch & miss my precious Feederz...!
  2:30pm
joe:

@Mike nobody really seems to know. I have to say I don't have as much history there as most of the touring bands that came through I would normally catch at a NYC show so I have not been there as many times as others.
  2:31pm
joe:

Does the on line feed sound a little shacky today or is that just my crappy network and headphones?
  2:32pm
Cecile:

Not knowing the whole story, it sounds like maybe a death in the family. We had a nice little dive bar close for that reason - they never reopened. Sold it for taxes and the settling of the will.

@joe no, it's just the crappy production on this song.
  2:33pm
Mike East:

I used to live around the corner, so I spent alot of time at their open mics and played a few shows there with my old band.
  2:33pm
Cheri Pi:

Inquisition=Popeye rock.
  2:34pm
Z Man:

I'm typing with my head
  2:36pm
Cheri Pi:

Anthrax/Testament come to Cincinnati in a few weeks. Just like they did a few decades ago.
  2:37pm
Simon "Crazy Legs" Bannister:

Pec My Chest Please!! Nice job today!! Made my afternoon!! Now I need to kick someone in the head or just kiss someone! I am confused!! LoL
  2:41pm
Cecile:

Alternate title of this song could have been "doodlebug". That's another name for an ant lion. I love you Google.
  2:42pm
Cecile:

doodlebug isn't very metal, though.
  2:45pm
Cecile:

this bit here is kind of doodlebuggy. Or noodlebuggy.
  2:48pm
Z Man:

Doodlebug would be a nice name for a Melvins song
  2:52pm
joe:

@Cheri you get Death Angel with that too?
  2:53pm
Simon "Crazy Legs" Bannister:

Really Dug that Darkthrone tune!! First time I ever heard!!
  2:54pm
jljl:

Why the double shot of Inquisition?
  2:54pm
Cheri Pi:

@Joe-you betcha! back in the day it was also Death Angel, and or Morbid Angel.
  2:55pm
Cheri Pi:

Popeye sings for a several bands.
  2:55pm
joe:

Yeah caught this tour on this end a couple of months back. Was pretty cool I went to see the Sonics that afternoon and then saw this show that night LOL
Avatar 2:55pm
kamikaze:

It was actually two different Inquisitions, and this is Gorgoroth in case you're thinking I double shotted the metal one!
  2:56pm
Google:

Really? Because, you know, I've been crushing out on you for a long time.
  2:58pm
Cecile:
