Thanks Bob, since you the string theme/thread, I've been paying more attention, and almost always beautiful horn arrangement accompany the strings. Lately bass lines have been my obsession, Gene Chandlers 'Groovy Situation' is a good example. Joe Osborn, Leland Sklar, of course the incredible James Jamerson. Paul had more than a few brilliant moments too
